Title: Signature spam! Post by: ndnh on May 22, 2016, 07:09:40 AM As someone who have managed signature campaigns, I noticed someone using a weird way to post repetitive stuff and go unnoticed.
Modus operandi: 1. Copy the contents of a previous post (made in the a previous signature period) made by him, and edit it to something irrelevant. 2. Make a new post with the same old content. Example: (reported) (archived) #1 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1159221.msg14849656#msg14849656 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1159221.msg14916165#msg14916165 #2 (same poster) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1398787.msg14849677%23msg14849677 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1398787.msg14925812%23msg14925812 #3 and so on.. from here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=106419;sa=showPosts;start=40 (This guy is probably still hard at work :o) Notes: A manager or a bot looking at the posts for the current period will find it hard to find this abuse. In threads with more than a few pages, it becomes significantly harder to spot. Posted to make bitcointalk better. ;D Please report any such cases you notice to the moderators.
