Title: For altcoin scammers praying BTC halving rise doesn't collapse your scamcoins
Post by: r0ach on May 22, 2016, 08:57:06 PM
The die has been cast.  Huobi controlled the BTC rise from $230 to $500 last time and they've put their foot down on Ethscammers trying to manipulate Bitfinex downwards to pump Eth.  As you can see, Huobi didn't follow any of the other exchanges down and they'll likely be the ones leading the BTC rise when it starts:

r0ach supporting BTC and calling eth a scam.

<r0ach> these eth shills claiming the bitcoin halving is priced in are hilarious
<r0ach> you need to be mentally insane to believe 50% of miners would drop out
<r0ach> because that's what's required for the halving to be priced in
<r0ach> worst case scenario, *some* miners would drop out  and instead of price doubling, it only would go up 50%
<r0ach> it could also more than double in price
<r0ach> there are not many miners on the wrong end of the marginal cost in the first place
<r0ach> so it would be more like all miners stop mining or the price goes up a lot lol
<r0ach> and they would just manipulate it upwards long before stopping mining

Pretty lame, huobi is a giant fake scam exchange.  Of course they would try to manipulate the bitcoin price.

Huobi has no trading fees most of the volume is bots.

Roach: says poloniex is dishonest but praises huobi the dodgiest exchange on the planet.

In roach's world 2+2= 5

Remember writing this roach?

"Yea, no.  Everyone knows China is a net exporter of BTC so they have the biggest motive on earth to pump the price.  Yet, here we are, watching China not only trail the west in price day after day, but also trying to block the price rise at the same time.  Some people claimed it's because China doesn't want any more ASIC companies or miners entering the game, but I do not believe that to be the Occam's Razor solution.  The fact that when the Chinese want to short BTC, they spam the forum with bots with horrible English saying stuff like "BTC die now", and those same bots started saying things like "BTC scam die now, Eth is new BTC","

So what is it?  Does china want eth to go up or go down?

Or nothing much might happen and leave people making their excuses for why not (as usual)

Remember writing this roach?

It's unknown what China's motivation was for attempting to stop a BTC price bubble pre-halving.  The only thing known is that Huobi put it's foot down and refused to dip for people manipulating price downwards on BitFinex.  The other known fact is that Huobi are the people who led the price rise from $230 to $500 last time.  If you want to bet against Huobi when they have clearly shown their cards and have a past history of being able to move the market, be my guest.

r0ach you are missing so many opportunities to increase your BTC stack with your blind btc halving bubble pump shilling ; you are just doing the opposite of those who you call the eth shills ; you are one of the same

here what i had written some days ago

who the fuck cares, we are all just moving from coins to coins; they are all shit; even bitcoin is shit considering it cant achieve the purpose it was aiming for; you are the only one here promoting tying yourself to the death to a shitcoin when there is no guarantee that the civil war that has been going one for more than a year is going to be resolved anytime soon

so here's the advice that roach should tell everyone: under 2850, you get the fuck out of bitcoin and you short it like crazy; above 3030 you do the opposite; rigth now, just get in ETH to enjoy the DAO ride

at that time ETH was at 22 its at 31+ now, you'd have made a killing and the rise isnt finished yet we are going to go past the 34 high within 24 hours.

seriously its beyond me how you are so critical of shills when you are doing EXACTLY the same, how can you not SEE it ? for fuck sake i'm readng your last posts you are spamming the same shit over and over anonymint style! calm down!!!

"just get in ETH to enjoy the DAO ride"

Hey darlidada maybe he does not want to support a highly risky scam coin for profits.

Anyone with half a brain would not be peddling scammy IPO shit coins as the halving looms.

And..
He is entitled to discuss Altcoins.. don't like his opinions ? Tough Titty suck it up ETH scammers.
Good luck "getting rich" off of your ETH "Fuel" tokens.

And don't like my opinion ? Cry FUD and go make a DAPP about it  ;D

I remember the DOGE halvening. There were even halvening parties going on....

Then....

People waited....

And....

Nothing....

I hold BTC but I don't think this halving will do anything other than getting fanboys watching charts and wetting their pants (until they realise it's not heading to $1000 anytime soon).

Then we'll start getting the expected excuses on here.

Expect lots of blame for China...

I think the ones with the most coins do not want too much hyped prices or big bangs, especially on btc. Sure they took (taking) advantage of eth.
Im just watching this for some days now, but to me it looks like bitcoins are not flying out the door that easily. So this eth hype was (still is) a welcome way of getting some fiat.

imo, both eth and btc collapse if it runs up freely and highly in a short time and their future income would be gone with it. So no they dont want you to cash out via such a burst, the buyers volume would need to be steadily upped for that happen. There is still lots of coin to be mined even after halvings.

If you have coins I'd be glad with any scheme or whatever that brings in more money to your party, because without it nothing goes up. I see no reason for ppl jumping in without any such hype. Halvening hype means nothing to outsiders.

Once again, you're on your 2nd IPO scam while claiming I have a "bad reputation" for not betting 100 BTC with you for a bet that barely anyone on the planet could fairly arbitrate.

Exactly i have said for years it usually means nothing.. such as when Doge was going to halve
Go check my post history i told them all it would do nothing and i was right.
But you missed 1 point.. Bitcoin is in no way in the same league as the scammy clone coin Doge.
It is not even in the same league as Litecoin.
So your comparing Apples with dirty Underwear son  ::)

EDIT:
Priced in ?
Maybe but i think we are seeing a phenomena here where it will turn into a self fulfilling prophecy.
I think people WANT to see it go up and will there for will make it happen.
That is all we need really.

I made my opinions / predictions already couple months back in the Bitcoin section on this but i will recap a bit..
I think it will have *some* effect but i bet it will dip back down later because it will not be fueled
by natural growth by real world adoption / use etc.
Market players / whales & day traders etc will want to see it pumped up but they will be looking to cash out too.
So long term i doubt it will mean all that much.. maybe a minor over all increase.
But short term i think we will see a party and some hefty price spikes etc.

I think my take on it is fairly rational.
No extreme or crazy opinions on it all LOL

Halving price is already in place, but the effect of the halving will still cause a bubble once the speculators have sold out their position.

50% deflation will still cause a bubble as the true users of bitcoin have a harder time aquiring Bitcoins after the halving, and the speculators will flood back in as they realize that the price at the time of the halving event was at the bottom range of BTC's speculative worth.

I also have a feeling that there will be some sort of Blackswan event ( probably caused by a long term full blockchain and anger over wait times), which in term will call all the long positions(similar to the silkroad event) before we see the price go exponential.

Im betting on whatever project has fixed the BTC problems (by implementing all the recommended changes that BTC has held back on), until this event happens.
at that point I bet Core will finally release all the changes needed (claiming that they finally finished everything) and the community will buy back in.

Ill buy and go long on BTC when I see blood in the streets.
