Title: Litecoin on Coinbase?????????

Coinbase Exchange is rebranding to GDAX and will support ETH/BTC and ETH/USD trading soon. LTC/BTC and LTC/USD in the works!

Would this not have an affect on the price?  Seems like the BIG news LTC has been waiting so patiently for!

These news have been already covered several times in Altcoin Discussion section.

As BTC halving approaches, LTC is preparing for a big ride!

Looks like CoinBase is hedging their bets, in case the BTC Halving goes deep south.
Which BTC is no longer suitable for micro payments, so LTC or Doge would take that part of the market over.

LTC will definitely take a % of buy support from BTC on coinbase, for speed & micro payments if nothing else.
Many will buy LTC then move it to an exchange and then buy their favorite Alt, so the only real question will this increase or decrease LTC's price.
That will depend on the buyers and sellers,
Increase Price Chances
If it makes some Venture Capitalists / Investment Firms just buy up a bunch of LTC to hold it, LTC may see over $5 soon

Decrease Price Chances
After buying LTC on Coinbase , Sellers dump LTC immediately to buy their favorite alt, buyers will lower their ask price to gain more.
Although a possible bigger danger, is the Chinese LTC miners decide to use it as a way to safeguard their wealth, Sell their LTC for US $ , to wait out any of China's Devaluation of their Yuan, then and after devaluation, buy back the LTC and then immediately convert back to Yuan
(Insiders will make a killing doing this.)
China would actually be able to massively control the LTC market pump & dump cycles by their valuation of their Yuan.

Yeah, this has been mentioned a couple of times already in altcoin discussion. But yeah, I guess it's the push that litecoin needed. To be honest though, I don't think litecoin can be revived however much you try now. Simply too much lack of interest and neglect within the bitcoin community.

But, who knows? Maybe after Coinbase starts to trade litecoin, the price will surge, since the LTC/USD option is added. Currently it's not that easy to buy LTC directly with USD.
