Title: Re: Would there be interest in using your BTC to invest in US Stocks?

Hi!

I'm considering starting a broker/dealer here in the States, so that BTC users can trade U.S. stocks without first having to convert to USD. This would be SEC regulated, so total identification would be necessary. No way to make it anonymous.

Clients would transfer BTC at spot price (+ commission) and have their BTC converted instantaneously to USD to use in the buying and selling of securities on major US exchanges. There would be no fees to actually trade, just a small fee to deposit the duns.

What do you think?
US people will interest,of course. they will have better and larger market to grow their bitcoin, and also i ever saw thread about people who ask how can he trade his bitcoin to stocks, but i dont think so this is will great for another country.

Regulations will be a headache, so you may want to read more about the Bitlicense in NY which I heard required a lot of resources to support the application- I think there was only one or two applications submitted so far.

Many would be interest in using their own BITCOIN to invest in US Stocks. Thats what we want as a bitcoin user to use our bitcoin in our businesses like this. We want it because its a first step to know bitcoin in worldwide and i think if many adopt or accept to your offer many companies will offer too.

Dude, I buy stocks with cash.  I get paid in cash.  It would be pointless to buy stocks with bitcoin simply for the sake of using bitcoin.  And I find it hard to believe that you're going to set yourself up as a broker.  Who are you, exactly?

I think the closest we have come to this is, https://1broker.com/ <CFD's> They operate on many markets, for example :

ASX 200 / DAX (German 30) / Dow Jones 30 Industrial / Euro Stoxx 50 / FTSE 100 / Hong Kong 50 / Nikkei 225 / S&P 500
& SMI

" Since 2012 1Broker offers derivatives on various financial markets for Bitcoin users. We can proudly claim to be one of the oldest Bitcoin-only businesses still operating. Our philosophy: Constantly improving our trading platform and service security, while offering a high-quality customer support. "

I for one would be interested, but that's because I'm not American. I'm not living in the US nor do I have a bank account in America. There are a few US companies I'd willing to invest into. I'm doubtful Americans could be interested, but if you could make it easier and cheaper for foreigners to invest in companies listed on NASDAQ, you have a market.
