Bitcoin:

  • Bitcoin.com has launched a global store for cryptocurrency enthusiasts. The store provides cryptocurrency-themed apparel, art, hardware, and merchandise. By this, Bitcoin.com is establishing itself as the go to source for everything bitcoin related.

  • Over the counter bitcoins: People can now buy bitcoin at convenience stores all around Mexico, thanks to a partnership between Mexican cryptocurrency exchange Bitso and payment services provider Zmart Group.



Blockchain application:


  • Russia’s largest bank Sberbank has developed “Sberbank Messenger” which represents a multifunctional platform for communications and financial transactions. The platform allows interaction between several categories of users, including personal communication and business - all under one roof and available as an app for mobile devices. The bank adopted blockchain technology to secure the platform from any risks of scamming or fraud.

  • The DAO is one of the first decentralized organizations which implements the opportunities offered by Ethereum smart contracts to create a completely new, transparent and more accountable business model. The company raised $130 million in just two weeks, making Dao the most well-crowdfunded project in history, and the best well-funded blockchain company.


International:


  • Visa, the world’s largest payment network, plans blockchain push from India: a Top Visa executive has revealed that the company plans to use blockchain technology to improve its payments processes.

  • Dubai is set to play host to a conference on digital currencies later this month, an event that comes several months after a government-backed blockchain effort was first unveiled.

Not much true bitcoin news there.  The blockchain seems to be becoming more and more popular, I hope that Bitcoin the currency isn't forgotten when people look at blockchains.

Try to use the "English version" of your website but it doesn't seem to work. Anyway, there is not much happening for the past week. However, the exciting time is upon us...

Great to see that blockchain technology is starting beeing used by bank. Waiting for the day when they start using Bitcoin aswel :D

of course,they want more and more,after asian market have taken by them,now they want market of western,they start make campaign about anything,and i see the price on huob always better than other western market.

of course,they want more and more,after asian market have taken by them,now they want market of western,they start make campaign about anything,and i see the price on huob always better than other western market.

Expansion is a great thing. I'm unaware of any other exchanges venturing out and dipping their toes into the world of media. So I tip my hat to Huobi, and wish them continued success

This is obviously the next logical step in the world of crypto currencies ;)
