Title: Amazon EC2 Windows Cloud Mining
Post by: goldcode on May 24, 2016, 08:00:56 PM
I want to experiment mining new X11 coins with Amazon EC2 on Windows VMs.

What miner do I have to choose for X11 coins? a) for cpu instances and b) for gpu instances?

Pool for solo mining is also localhost?

Thanks for any help :)

PS: Please no comments why my idea is stupid. If you want to answer, just answer my question. Thank you :)

Unless you've stolen the amazon account, you will be paying for your VM much more than you'll be getting out from mining.

1-core VM's give you 0.07$/day at _best_. That's 2.17$/month. While the VM costs $5/month. You're basically throwing money away.
