Yes i am asking if anyone has made profit from Lisk Launch , I have been a loss of 8.7 BTC , i am in shock now all my Lisk now are worth of 0.2 BTC.
I would like to hear Your success story or cry story.

You haven't lost anything.  Lisk is still higher than ico price. Unless you bought in at the start of trading?

Wow that was such a huge lost you can only hope that they can bounce back from this launch failure winder how many investors like you who have lost that huge amount of bitcoin are there other who lost this huge..

Lesson one would be never to buy at the start of trading.

If you look at all launch graphs of any coin, it is always a steep decline until consolidation. Only buy then, you wouldve had the coins at 40k sat and be in the green by buying 4 hours later.

This forum will never learn patience.

I have kept completely out for some time now. The only investment I have done in quite a while in Ethereum based on depth of technology and devs involved. LISK always looked risky, but I do understand the temptation. Oh well, we have all been burned.

No one who actually invested during the ICO is at a loss. Even selling at the bottom of the dump on Poloniex still doubles your initial investment...

The only way to lose money is to buy it immediately as it hit the exchange, which I can't fathom why anyone in their right mind would do that seeing as how the price was way to high from the ICO (10x or more). That amplified by the fact that most people couldn't sell their coins at launch because of ddos and wallet trouble which further inflates the price.

I think the fellow bought Yobit IOU-Lisk at the now-insane prices that prevailed before the official launch. Helluva hard lesson to learn.

How you can lost Lisk when the ico Marketcap was about 5 million dollar
and the marketcap at the start now is about 5 times higher (25 million dollar).

For these who hadn't bought during ico it was kinda hard.
On poloniex the price was really high. Up to 0.03 per LSK and then everyone sold and the price was going low.
And some people (like me) bought at a much higher price than it is now.

However I'll keep my LSK. If it is really a competitor to ETH it will go up again.  ;D

I lost nearly nothing compared to the OP and I learnt to invest during ico in every reputable and smart coin.

Well, to be honest it is not a surprise. I already wrote in price speculation thread some weeks ago that I expect a price somewhere between $0.20 to $0.30 for Lisk. Now, I think the price will be much lower.
I bought a Lisk stake for 0.2 BTC and sold it for 0.75 BTC weeks before Lisk was released. So, I made a good profit.
Lisk is nothing than a copycat of Crypti with some extra features. Why should it be so much more valued?

Look at poloniex chart. There's a lot of buy orders. Price will go up.
I was lucky and bought some at 0.0005  :D   I want to make a 10x, it would be huge. But noone knows, maybe I'll lose it all too.

I personally bought no Lisk but i would like to buy some when the price is less $0.10. This is a fair price for this coin. It was a marketing hyped coin. Nothing more. The tech is good but nothing special.

Please tell me how you are at a loss what did u buy at and were ?  I invested $5000 dollars on the first day of ico and now is worth 20,000 dollars I'm not selling lesson learned with ETH ,  I'm going all the way to 250,000 thou and getting LISK on my lic plate for my Porsche

Unless you've sold it, you don't have a profit.  All you have is unrealized gain.

Similarly, unless the OP sold it, he just has an unrealized loss. 

The dumper will always dump at the start or launch of any coin which normally reduces the price and its good since you know that the loose hands are out of the coin. Always hold your coin for atleast 1 month which I definitely learned from BTCD when I was panicking due to dumping, but look after 3 months, the price touched an all time high of 5$.. Anyway Lisk launch has not been more than 2 days and dont worry, HOLD.

Gonna be honest, I have not won off of LISK. Missed the ICO. Started trading with .2 BTC launch day. Worked that up to .3, then bought back in at .00098. Down below I started if I sell now, hoping price can rebound to around .0007 so I can sell without loss.

i have made some small profit in the early launch when i bought at the bottom and sold some around 0.0008 but now i am only buying as much LISK as i can while the price is between 0.0005-0.0006 and i will wait for the 0.01BTC to sell.

you are lucky to make profit at the beginning , till now i am in loss , i have been watching lisk since two days and the price is really worrying , hope i will be able to get at-least what i invested.

you'll need to hold for a long time. I hope for you Lisk team can be as competant as ethereum's, cause this is a very high price and so marketcap.

no i didn't make any profit because i usually don't get in any coin in the begining, i mostly wait a little while so that market takes some shape then decide.

I invested 0.02BTC buying some LISKs but instead It's a mistake that I bought. Right now I'm holding my LISKs still waiting if there's still a chance the price would rise or it's a loss for me.

S lot of people got conned and are looking at major losses from this scam. I would cut your losses immediately and take it as a lesson learnt. Were you one of the people who had their wallet locked and couldn't sell.

From the technolocial site, Lisk is a direct competitor to Ethereum. Both have great tech and follow different strategies. If you look at the price of both, you see that Lisk is completely undervalued compared to Ethereum. For the reason, Lisk has to be upvalued in the near future or Ethereum has to be downvalued. I personally guess that the first will hold.

I made a teeny bit of profit which is good enough for me. I didn't expect to make a lot on a project like Lisk.

People who bought the Lisk IOU-Token on Yobit have made a lot of loss. The price their was at the first days between $7 and $8. Now the price is around $0.3 to $0.4. This is a loss of more than 90%. There were some warnings about the Yobit thing (and they are repeating the same procedure with WAVES at the moment), but some were to greedy and bought thoses tokens.

Not made any profit yet, but god damn I like those figures in unrealized gain ;D

It was sure that Lisk wouldn't stay at this price. I made about 1BTC in two days of clever trading. I just bought low and sold high. It isn't really hard...

But 1 BTC worth at the 10% buy in (around $415 usd per BTC I think it was) comes out to 6,039 Lisk.

That times the current price on coingekko gives me this price for 1 lisk   0.44432332 usd x 6,039 is $2683.27 usd

Thus $2,683.27 divided by current BTC price of $580 that is $2683.27 is 4.626 btc

so anyway ....on "PAPER" it looks nice..I'm a holding we will see :)

I bet 90% of the people complaining about losing money on Lisk did so because of the Yobit LSK iou market!!! Until the actual launch this was not even Lisk!!! I did great out of Lisk , Got all of my ROI out plus 5-10BTCs and now have 35K free LSK. Learn a lesson be very carefull of shady exchanges offering coins before they have even been distributed yet, for fuks sake yobit just 'reset' the waves market like Blacksmith is the crypto king or something, what about all the people whod bought waves iou before the reset and didnt find out in time lol WTF , fukin joke.  & dont listen to Trollbox , 99% FUD or misinformatioon!!!

so far i am up ~40% in profit again :D


anybody who lost money because of YOBIT scam is their own fault.

everybody warned them about this and said they are selling nothing with fake volume. even lisk dev said we are unhappy about what they are doing.

people who bought in ico already up 4x-5x at this point at 75k
