are you ready for bitcoin halving? what can you say about the halving ???

I have booked my holiday so I will be offline during that time... I love surprises!

I am ready for sure but I don't have high expectations from what's going to happen at the halving day. I will most likely not sell any coins as I don't think the price will go much higher than $500.

Ha... I didn't even know about bitcoin then! I guess this will be a great one and I am also hoping that this will be a very smooth one. There shouldn't be any surprises  :)

I don't think there will be a massive price rise immediately, it might take until a month or two after the halving for the full effects of less coins available to buy, before we see a big price increase.

I am ready for the halving to happen because I am longer then ready to buy some coins again. When is the halving going to happen again because I thought that it was going to happen a long time ago. 

Yea, bought some coins at the last minute, while the price dropped and other people panicked. {You just have to love it, when other people freak out and sell prematurely} Let's just hope this goes on

for a while longer, so that we can pick up even more coins at these bargain prices. I might just consider selling a few of these cheap coins to celebrate the event, when it happens. I expect a couple of

people will start selling, when the price increased slightly and people like myself, will sweep in to get them cheap. The day traders and speculators are going to have a ball with this event.  ;D 

I personally can`t wait for the halving. It has been too long discussions about different effects of upcoming halving and i think it will just feel good to be done with it. Perhaps new asic miners will come out after that as well and those of us that are interested in minning will know a bit more about the future. It is little over a month by today. Perhaps i can get a countdown app on my smart phone.  :)

I do not know, now I have not had a lot of bitcoin, I guess I was not ready for this, but if my income is not scaled back, maybe I was prepared with all of this  ;D

i'm not ready yet,honestly i need more time,migth one month again to collect and buy bitcoin as much as i can,currently i dont have enough bitcoin for bitcoin halving on next month,even  dont know what will happen when halving come.

i was making myself ready for the halving back when the price was $200 and i was buying bitcoin every week. and also with the recent dip i could even buy some more bitcoin to add to my stash for the halving, so i will be facing it with full hands :)

I too feel the price would be stable at the current rate or may reach max $480-$500 but there wouldn't be a big change. I am also not going to sell my coins till the end of this year as I hope like last year, the price would be high by

when halving happen maybe price will go up and down so my bitcoin is ready to sell and my fiat money is ready to buy more bitcoin  ;D

For halving block i just have a little bitcoin but i hope no more than 1 month i will have 1 bitcoin

I am still preparing for the halving to collect more and more bitcoins, and as the price is currently good enough so I am buying bitcoins also as soon I get any amount of money, I am sure bitcoin halving will surprise us with a big profit, and will not disappoint us.

Collecting and suggesting my other freinds to keep on buying and holding as much as you can before halving. I expect 600+ price atleast after halving.

For me the block halving will not do much as I plan to hold all my coins till the price reaches at least $1000 somewhere in the future.

What I will do is send a transaction with a very high fee hoping it will included in the first 12.5BTC block.

Well I am as ready as I will ever be I guess :D Bitcoin is expected to increase in price after the halving but don't hold your breath though because it may take a while to see any significant price increase. Personally it doesn't matter a lot to me as I am into Bitcoin for the long haul and I don't plan to sell my coins any time soon and I hope my Bitcoin stash will stay intact until the next halving in 2020. I think it's probably the biggest mistake to sell off most of your coins in the next few months because it's very uncertain where the price is heading to.

I'm not ready, and a little fear. I do not believe that the price will go up, I mean that because of the Halving the price change. But I am concerned that the miners will lose their enthusiasm and leave mining.

I am ready for the block halving since 2015 when I bought big around $250. :) I will unload some coins 1 day before the block halving takes place.

I think every body who are into bitcoin knows this and I'm pretty sure they are aware of the predictions and expectations about the coming halving in my case I am very much ready and will be business as usual,I expect the price to increase slowly but steadily..

of course the effect on prices will occur after halving occurs because before it certainly will not be reduced in number of bitcoin
and if the request bitcoin enlarged course it will provide an additional effect on the price of bitcoin.

Yeah, I'm always ready for an event like a bitcoin halving, I think it'll give the much needed boost to the bitcoin community. Currently price is stable at around $460, but it could definitely be some room to rise when halving comes near.

I believe that because halving is a natural deflationary event, as miners will get less reward per block, there will be a sharp increase in the price of btc as the miners will be aiming to hang on to their BTC and sell it later. So hold on to your coins, boys :D

Dont forget the option where people who ve been hoarding for years get disappointed by the price and dump.

So, no real guarantees what way will the price move.

What's the big deal with halving anyway? The only ones who will be directly affected by it are the poor miners who will gwt half of the profit they arw currently getting. The only thing we should be excited about halving is if it will affect the price positively or not. Let's just hope it will not vust everyones hope that it will make the price jump.

I have been ready to meet the halving long ago. From the day it got revealed that this year halving is gonna take place I stopped converting bitcoin to fiat. Its been stored safely and only at emergency as per requirements I convert few to local currency.

What's the big deal with halving? Imagine yourself holding on to, say 5 bitcoins. That's nearly $2250 in value. If, let's say, bitcoin does indeed jumped a price at $500, you get $250 free, instantly. And the poor miners aren't the only ones affected.

The most affected are those that have the most bitcoins in their wallet because more bitcoins = more profit.
That's only if the value of bitcoins increased.

I do not do anything for the halving. I might buy some bitcoins just in case it rises in price. But that is all.

If you don't have enough bitcoin in your wallet then you should start making efforts to earn it as you still have 2 months before halving to grab as much as possible.

It's closer to 1.5 month now and the time for accumulating is over. The price will not go much higher

Current price is the best price to buy, as I don't think its too high if you can afford to buy with current price then you can surely earn some profits in future.

I'm ready for halving (only wanted to have more bitcoins) , wanting to see if prices increases or remains at the same price, and interested to see how it affects on mining, if difficulty is going to decrease or not.

Honestly speaking I am not ready for halving because I wanted to collect atleast 10 btc before halving because I may not be able to buy them after halving.

I'm ready for halving. But I'm also still looking to accumulate more bitcoin with the next halving after this one in mind, as well as the halving after that.  The prices now are cheap compared to what we will see in Halving 2020 and Halving 2024, which when you think about it isn't too far away. Like the saying goes, "The early birds gets the (cheaper)worms."

Halving or no halving better stock up on Bitcoins because 2016 has been good with exchange of Bitcoins. Much more if it hits halving.

It seems it would have to be higher than current prices for mining to remain profitable, but by how much?

No one can be certain about the halving effect and when it would actually be felt in terms of bitcoin price. The price has spiked up the last couple of days from as low as $438 to as high as $465. I think the price is going to be playing in that range until we are close to halving.

Only those who are holding and earning bitcoin are the only ones who will get excited about this event which is the bitcoin halving,
But the question is, is there any good thing that will happen to bitcoin when halving started?

A few of my miner friend express their intention to sell after halving, so I think we will see a small wave of selling after halving.

Everyone is hoping that the Bitcoin halving will be nice to us and that we can earn some profit in the future with it and that should be perfect for us because we already waited a long time.
So the time must come that we can earn some profit with it and the price started already to rise and that is nice.

Some users are expecting big increases on bitcoin price before halving, and if it happens they will sell some bitcoins to buy on lower levels (but no one could be sure that they will have the opportunity to buy on lower prices).

actually i think the big rise because of halving will happen after the halving not before or during the halving.
it might even take a month or two after the halving before the rise even starts.

Everyone with Bitcoin is waiting for a nice halving and that is because they all want to earn some profit with it which that is not possible now so that have to change.
But it is still hard to predict for what will happen because it is a currency so you are not for sure if it will rise.

The only thing that they have to do is that they must hold it and sell it on the right moment when they can get huge profit.

5 bitcoins invested in what ? You're taking chances here.The block reward changes will definitely be lucrative for a while but no fair trade is expected in the period.If you're smart enough to hold/sell at the right time,your investment will make sense.

That's exactly what I am going for too.
Short time be it 1 week or 6 months. is not important. What is important is the steady development of bitcoin and the bitcoin developers.
As long they do their job and more companies like steam keep accepting bitcoin, the future is bright.

I don't think I need to be prepared for that, I'm a gambler so for me it's important that everything be good and price to go up, what I believe its gona happen. People are very exited as I can read trough the forum, and I see traders enjoy in this up and down's, trying to earn from this. I see also people who lose, so people should be carefully with trading.

Many people here i think are ready for block halving and they are holding tightly but the problem is the whales are there they are dumping bitcoin and now the price is low.. looks like some are controling the price they are attracting people to buy so that the price will increase then other people are dumping to make a profit..

The consequences of having this bitcoin halving could bring potential change to the currency for sure. I think the positive changes are the fact that the price will skyrocket, so it's great for traders.

Though the negative change is that it will affect a lot of the miners, most of them actually. It's really questionable whether we will lose them or not, hopefully not I hope.

I own like 5 € right now and I'm spending it on steam sales. So I will have like 3€-7€ at that time. I would not say that I will be ready. Picked the wrong and late time to start using Bitcoin. I guess you guys are ready though. I wish you a happy halving.

I can hardly wait what halving will bring to us. There are so many speculations about the good and the bad sides of halving but no one actually knows what will happen. We have to be prepared for any kind of scenario.

The halving process will be a giant success for btc's rise because then you'll see that there wont be so much so the demand will go through the roof. this will also cause a lot of people that sell their bitcoins to become very upset with themselves, they'll be mad because they didnt hold it for after the halving when all of the currency shoots up in price... :D everyone make big money at halving!

I would say that I'm ready for the halving personally, there isn't much more I want to do from this point and I'm more interested in seeing what happens to the value and where the market goes instead of having to sit here and wait for the next two weeks or whatever it is at this point. A lot of the market is more interested what happens after the halving, and a lot of what the market wants to do has already occurred. Now we're all just waiting for the halving...

Am I the only one who believes that the price will crash in the first weeks after the halving? I think there will be a spike during the first 2 days, but then after nothing special happens I expect a drop (just like these days) and after that a steady increase during this year up to 1K. If I'm correct I plan to buy at the drop. But who really knows?  ;)

The most people are ready and I think we can make a lot of profit with the halving so its also really worth it.

Be ready for the large price fluctuations movement that will performed by the big whales.

It's far more to be concerend than the halving itself which is just a receiver of the trend.

Right, just a big pump and then large red lines showing people losing their coins' values. Just a fluctuating event and nothing. This is nothing, but a boon as it gets bitcoins to values which no one ever thought of.

Good example is the recent dip days ago from $700 above range to around $550.

People back then prior to the big push stating all of that are because of the upcoming halving. But with just a dip of $20 it goes down much more to below $600 cause of panic. Where's the halving thing on that?

So in here, we must take closely how the price will behave and be ready for whatever happens. No way the price will increase just because of halving alone.

I'm not ready for halving because i don't have at least 1 btc as of now. So i just working hard on signature campaigns and trading altcoins so that i can increase my bitcoin slowly and i the sad thing for me also is i lost my 0.5 btc on hashocean because they turned to scam now and i'm shocked because i though that they are trusted and they will continue paying to us but the whole thing is a lie  :'(

Even though you think that you are late you can still start mining bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies like ethereum because the price is adjusting to make the mining still profitable ;D. It's better to join on mining pool because it will help you to mine bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies faster.

The best thing is price didn't fall after the halving in fact it kept on moving up slowly and that is a good sign for the users who have invested their money to earn higher profits.

The price of bitcoin is quite stable at the moment. It is good for the bitcoin to be treated as a currency.
