Do you really trust online bitcoin casinos you play at?

I think all lost in casino, except the owner.

Well the beautiful thing about the vast majority of bitcoin casinos is that you don't need to trust them, just learn how to verify the outcomes   8)

If you are using the sportsbook, the outcomes are third party verifiable, you can check the internet after the event to see if you picked right. In that scenario, the only trust required is that they will release your funds when you request them.

If you are playing the games of chance however, you have to trust that the rolls aren't rigged. There are the "provable" sites, but they aren't as polished as the sites with the more traditional front ends.

I'd stick with the sportsbook. Known rate of return on a positive outcome.

Trust is not gained by the result you get from the casino but as what Rhavar said it is all about provably fairness where you can verify the outcome.

I only play at the ones which have been here from a long time, for example Primedice and the ones which are provably fair and anonymous. As for winning/losing is concerned, its all part of the game, though you're not completely wrong that in the long run house always wins.

Not really, I rarely gamble these days. If I find an attractive site to try, I'll check the winning ratios. Depending on that, I'll bet with a little amount. If I'm losing more than winning, I'll stay of it. That is just to check the winning ratio. Not because I trust.

i dont think so. i myself won some bits from casinos. people loose in it because they become more greedy after winning or try to earn the money back after loosing. it is an addictive game but if you play in control u can win.

2. Loses are explained with probability theory. You can't seriously expect to make 100x profit, just learn when to stop.

I trust them as far as I trust our government. You know they are going to take your money, and that they will lie about the returns you will get from it. They will divert the money for their own use, and to get you hooked (their re-election). You may get some rewards on the way, but in the end, they will take everything they can away from you.

There are different levels of trust, namely :

- You trust them to make all games provably fair < If they cannot provide proof, they are rigged >
- You trust that they will pay out your winnings and not run away.
- You trust that they are regulated by a legitimate organization.
- You trust that they have the jackpots they claim they have.
- You trust that the investment you made with them are not rigged by the house
- You trust that the affiliate network pay what it is supposed to pay.

It depends on which of these things you are talking about, and on what level you are participating at these casinos.

If you are talking about the owners, it depends. I always trust Stunna, and Dooglus. Perhaps Betking, but that's pretty much it. There are a lot of small casinos that are either proven to be rigged over time or they just simply get your money and run.

But I pretty much always lose when I'm gambling. So I don't really gamble any more and I don't trust in making a quick buck with gambling any more. I view gambling as an entertainment, just like watching a movie.

I'm with you about it mate, house edge let owner earn right away then being greedy while playing makes player cries after losing the game and money, there's no really winners unless lucks come on your ways and you are a professional thinker that knows when to stop while you still have time an have the earnings.

The thing about this is that in gambling, the house always wins in the end. There is something called a "House Edge" meaning that even in a 50/50 chance game, the casino will take a bit of your earnings.

Well, Casino always have a high chance to win and we aren't. But if we play smartly and not greed, i'm sure you can still get a profit from the casino.

There is no big difference between "normal" online casinos and bitcoin casinos. There are some really good bitcoin gambling sites like cloudbet.com and bitcasino.io, I would say I trust those. But I know for sure there are also bitcoin casinos that just steal the slot source codes for example from Netent and Novomatic instead of having a slot licence. And I wouldn't trust those casinos.

So far most of the bitcoin casinos are ok for me: I've used a few and I've nothing to complain about. I don't use them much today because I don't have time but every once in while I still enjoy them.

What kind of trust you are referring to? Trust that the casino will pay your profit or trust on them in terms of your winnings?
If it's the trust about paying you, it really depends on the site.
If it's the trust about winning when you bet, well it depends if you are lucky enough.

Honestly, I'm not into playing in any online casinos. It's not about I don't have trust on the site or developer, but it's just that I don't have any luck on winning there.

In the end it doesn't really whether a casino is really provably fair, even if they control the outcome they still have to allow some people to win for publicity otherwise nobody would go to them. You just have to hope you're there when they've reached the point where they have to promote a winner to look legit. Not that much different from a provably fair casino really  :D

I would trust them for small amounts of bitcoin but if you hit a jackpot and end up winning a large amount lets say 20 bitcoin, whether they pay out or not is something else.

I would say the larger ones, the ones that have been with us for a while would be okay but be very weary of any new recent ones until they are established and only risk small amounts.

Only use ones that have "provably fair" links for each play. That allows you to cryptographically verify that you aren't being cheated.

The only concern there is that they might have some obfuscated/hidden javascript that sends them your part of the key. That would be risky, however, since some programmer would almost surely call them out on it and destroy the reputation of the casino. Given they have all but guaranteed statistical profit due to the house edge, not worth risking their reputation.

Even I also think that always the house wins and players lose. I had lost few of my Bitcoins in casino. Gambling is a risky deed, I was thinking about creating my own online casino.

The problem with most online casinos are that they can state or claim that they use a  provably fair system but they're not. The only way to check it out is to actually look at their structure and assess for yourself which is highly not for everyone because not all bitcoin users, gamblers even, have that much advanced knowledge.

I dont trust casinos even if online casino or not online its only the same that have tactics to the winners of the game to loose their winning money. No. Now they just put out a message on the biggest bitcoin casino that withdrawals are done manually and will take up to 24 hours for them to send them out, which they always were automatic before.

I do trust them to some bitcoin casinos like BitVest because the mods there are really helpful when you encounter a problem.
But generally, I don't trust any casinos at all even if they say that they use a provably fair system. It's easy to state or claim that one is using a provably fair system, but you'd have to have a decent background on what provably fair is and look into the structure of the site yourself, which in my case is unlikely because I don't have much knowledge about provably fair.

Never just trust a "provably fair" statement - any provably fair casino should provide you a link to each and every recent bet that lets you verify that the random number was generated using a combination of your presumably private client key and their server-side key. It's not that hard to wade through the javascript to verify that they aren't sending along your private key -- any popular site has likely been verified many times by programmers who would be screaming bloody murder on this forum, and posting code examples, if they were cheating.

I'm partly trusting them its really depending on which website, some websites can be trusted and some cannot be trusted at all its dependable if they have proven them selves and how their system is working.

trusting a casino is a complex thing in my opinion. you have to trust their system to be fair which can be checked to some extent to make sure about this. also you have to trust them that they will remain fair in all your bets and also in the end they will not run away with your money.

loosing in a casino is not really to be blame in the casino itself but it should be blame to yourself. You were the one who put your money in risk so if you lost, it's not the casinos fault.

Disclosure: I own a Bitcoin casino. I'm just replying to this thread, because I think there's a certain amount of misinformation, or at least lack of definition on what a Bitcoin casino is. 
Dealing with the question of trust, broadly from what I see, Bitcoin casinos fall into three groups:

a. casinos on a shared platform i.e. SoftSwiss, the one I am on
b. ones that are on their own platform
c. ones that use their own games and therefore have complete control over the outcome of the game

The platform casinos
these typically use games from third-party providers like Microgaming, Netent, Endorphina and so on and use a central platform for transactions, licensing and customer services. These casinos have no control over the house edge that is set by the game provider. As long as there is some kind of test certificate, perhaps from iTech labs and there's a decent trust footprint on the forums i.e. that casino is getting out and about and has real and accountable people behind it, to me it's a trustworthy casino.

Generally I would say every casino on the SoftSwiss network is trustworthy. That's because Customer Services are centralised and ultimately the white label casino doesn't really have control over cash out decisions. So if there's a problem ultimately that stuff sits with SoftSwiss. Generally they have been extremely good on their decision-making in contentious situations.

The difference between one platform casino and another comes down to strategy on giving bonuses away, the websites they want to wrap around the games and the tone and feel of the brand, along with community engagement. there's a real misconception that any Bitcoin casino that cannot show provable fairness is rigged. Not true. If it has got games from the central game provider and their online reputation is good within the forum community, then you're most often okay.

No, i extremely do not. Because casino will lose my bitcoin gratuitously, moreover gambling on my country is illegal activities so i do not want broke the law from my government. My friends get lose their most of  bitcoin on gambling, i don't wanna i end like that.

Yes, but not all of them. There are some nice casinos out there. It is important to investigate a bit before you are starting to use one. I personally have very nice experience with vegascasino.io They always pay fast and they have live chat support almost all the time.

I trust and play on a few bitcoin casino/gambling sites, such as SealsWithClubs, BetCoin and Nitrogen Sports.

For the record, I have used bitcasino and bitstarz with no issue, with deposits over 1 btc on both services.

Without naming any names, I play and give action to a number of different bitcoin casinos, poker sites and sportsbooks.  I trust the ones I play at. I did my own research beforehand. That combined with my actual experiences at these particular sites, I've found them to be generally and for the most part, trustworthy and reputable so far, knock on wood. I personally have never had any issues with being intentionally cheated (at least none that I am aware of). And I have received all my requested withdrawals from the places I play at and use.

That being said, not all casinos are trustworthy. All you have to do is read thru some of the gambling section threads to see examples of people having bad experiences with certain bitcoin casinos.

There are some reputable Bitcoin casinos but for the most part, no. There so shady and time and time again we've seen exit scams from BTC casinos. You're bound to lose money from them anyways, either through getting scammed or not.

I usually before playing at any site check their Announcement thread and see the reputation of the owner. If he is red that to me means lets find another, if he is neutral, I see the feedbacks of gamblers, if he is dark green, I simply know he is at least honest.

Well I trust some bitcoin casinos that are used in sportsbetting but I don't trust those that sites that claims to be provably fair and uses hashes and seeds to verify rolls. But I check the reviews and users' experiences before depositing money to a new casino and I haven't had any problems or stolen money till now. Well you should try it. Even just for the heck of it. Although you only have to spend the amount you are willing to use in a casino because there's only 3 things that may happen. You lose, no change in amount (this is sometimes boring), or you gain btc from casinos. Try maybe playing a $5 worth of btc just for fun.

I think that it kind of depends on what casinos you are talking about.  Like most dice sites are known to not run away with your coins, but rather have a house advantage over all the players... other sports gambling places have proven to be ok too in terms of not running away, and it comes with the added bonus of being able to check on the lines to see if everyone else is playing the same line...

i also do trust on bitcoin casino. it is really fun there a lot of enjoyment. but the problem is that we have very limited access to these casino therefore we find it hard to get fun there.

Well the reason why we come to casino is to gamble, same thing when we deposit fund in a casino, it is a gamble because anytime they can run with your bitcoin.  But some casino have been here for sometime now,  so it would be wise if you choose these casino that have established reputation.

After all these recent CS GO casino scandals I believe bitcoin casinos are no different. Just my observation on a few sites from using martingale startegies. Gambling is not made for money making purpose. It made just for our entertainment. Yes, gambling always favours to House owner side. That is why they invested that much of amount and created the site. So in this, if you earn any profit in gambling means that is your talent. If we play skill base games, we too have a chance to make money.

The Casino system are made in a way that the person playing will always lose in the long Run or in Higher Bets. If this is not the case, then it will be impossible for Casinos to be Run.  But most of the people do not know about it and still Risks their money.

You can't say won't trust any casinos just because you always lose money. You should know all these gambling games are designed for paid entertainment purpose not for distributing money for all gamblers. As long as it related to play on those online casino, yes, I do trust. If I don't trust I will not be able to use services of those sites. It could be taken into context two ways. 1) Do you trust the online casino with your money on their website?  and 2) Do you trust the site on it being fair on gambling part and not cheating you with wrong results in dice/roulette/blackjack. Trusting casinos? Well i dont trust casinos. Casinos are built so people can have fun and the owner can profit and earm big money from it. You can trust the gambles to be fair though but trust me you will end losing and like giving that money to the owner.
