Bitcoin is famous among BTCtalk members 8), I would like to know! What are all the ideas to spread the bitcoins in Social communities like, Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and etc... Please share your ideas chaps....

There's not much you can do beyond posting informative links.. if people don't know what it is, it doesn't mean if you start saying that you will give people Bitcoin, they need to know what it is to be interested. Without something like changetip, we can't directly tip people over other social networks. Im sure they all will natively end up accepting Bitcoin in the future.

Everybody's spread the word already. i did it for years and noticed that bitcoin can actually promote itself especially if its price skyrocket.
so you can just go on with your life by just keep earning BTC thats what you should do instead.

Bro This is really good from you. In facebook i have noticed most of the people speaks about donald trump in their posts and shares. Like that If we start to say about bitcoin and its money technology then huge number of people will get interest about that and they will also start to make bitcoin then we can see some adoption from the business sectors.

Spreading of bitcoin in social sites were not needed to attract more users towards bitcoin. Spreading through bitcoin will possible reach lot users easily, at the same it becomes a threat to government.

Most common thing to do would be creating a fb page and firstly explaining what bitcoin is...then post links to bitcoin related activities and mostly gambling. You can post links on Twitter also.

you just need to make a screenshot of the bitcoin results you get in the form of dollars, and see comments will appear, I think they would quickly respond, he believed it had ever seen

There are already FB groups where people keep discussing about bitcoins. I haven't much seen any group on Twitter or bitcoin community as such. But still there are very few discussing daily about bitcoins and even when I search for articles, there are barely 5-6 sites that keep writing about bitcoins. There are be users who keep such groups active and share any information daily to make this currency popular/trending on social sites.

When I know bitcoin, I also try to spread out bitcoin information through local forum. I can see some benefit since many of them interest on bitcoin which bring positive effect for bitcoin value !

I post the link to cool new videos on Facebook and if there are good news, I post that too..  ;D ... You do not have to force it down people's thought.. just plant a little seed and they will be curious

and start asking questions. I did this when Steam started to accept Bitcoin. I posted the article and the questions came in about a hour after that. You just redirect all these questions to noobie vids

on youtube and to the newbie section on this forum.  ::)

When I get payment in bitcoin from somewhere. I'll share this on facebook and tag my all friends in the post. I think sharing your experience and knowledge about bitcoin is the best idea to spread the bitcoin in social networks.

Here in our country, there are lots of facebook groups about bitcoin including serious group like traders group and shit groups full of hyip and ponzi crap.

Numbers is really interesting. Members and Admins are active also. In some of the shit group I brought up many members there here in our forum to start again another journey in their bitcoin life. Mostly in those shit groups they ended up being scammed.

But no doubt, without those shitgroups they will not be attract to use bitcoin that's why Im still in some of that group to wake up others members.

I think its better to use paid service rent a slot ads space in facebook.. that you are paying only per click not for CPM or impressions..
Also you can you can start a twitter campaign in services section. this is i think the best to promote in social media..

We need to spread bitcoin not only to consumers. The best step is spreading it to businesses. Because if a lot of them start accepting bitcoin it is kinda easy to get new people that use it because they know what to do with it. I know there are already a lot of shops which accept bitcoins but it isn't that much. And there should be also more shop in the real world where you can pay with the bitcoin app for example.

Not sure if social media is the best way to do it for now.

The withdrawing/importing is easy because of bitcoin this is what I show people.  People want a use, lets keep making uses for BTC boys and girls.

I too believe that we should try our best and promote bitcoins. I used to rely on media articles but they don't really help. If we make multiple groups on Google and FB and have 3-4 more forums like BCT, we can actually get a lot of investors. Even posting about this currency on FB pages of companies like Google, Apple and so on, we can promote bitcoins and make users try it once.

Your best bet is to try to assess how Bitcoin can be helpful for your community or group of friends, and slowly introduce Bitcoin/Crypto tech to them.

find a good youtube video that is informative about bitcoin and then write a good post about bitcoin explaining it a little and then link the youtube video in your post.

when explaining about bitcoin try to stick to the facts about bitcoin (no technical stuff) and also try to keep the speculation about the future and price to a minimum!

If you want them to invite using bitcoin, just tell them the possitive things to do in bitcoin, Share links to social media and tell them the advantages of it

A simple way to make people engage in BTCitcoin or at least make them try to understand it, is to have a contest on social networks with attractive reward and giving the price in BTCitcoin instead of traditional options. Therefor those interested, would be forced to understand how BTCitcoin works and this way it could be a good way to spread BTCitcoin. Also some useful added links to the bottom of the contest post, could have a good impact so they won't have difficulty for finding the right links.

Share positive news related to bitcoin in your social profiles. after reading some news your friends will be excited to use bitcoin and they will do further search by themselves.

You should use video content, which is simple method convey the main advantages of crypto currencies!
but truly interest comes to people when bitcoin will surprise everyone, with big price spike, like in 2013!  ;) better when the understanding comes without an invitation and coercion

so many ways, using facebood we can send information about bitcoin to some one, we can inform our friends about bitcoin using twitter and using emails. i think social media is the best way to introduce bitcoins to our friends. it will spread like virus and defiantly its value will increase. it will become more stabilize. so we electronic media mean social media is the best option we have.

We should have a separate section on BCT forum where we can just share our social networking links and articles (unlike the Press section). We have Social networking campaigns but it is only used to promote brands and not bitcoins in general. Very few bloggers write about bitcoins on social sites and I plan to have my own FB group soon to spread the word :)

I think to introduce Bitcoin in Sosmed need all the promotional event such as an Online store. We can provide some of the entertainment Prize to people who want to join + we give the person's understanding about 1001 Bitcoin excess rather than other currencies.

People might think that they need to create dedicated groups on Facebook, or special twitter account focused solely on bitcoin news and information.
But that is not true. If you are user of any social media service all you need to do is talk to your friends, followers, subscribers etc about bitcoin.

Casually mention interesting facts and groundbreaking news in your conversations. It will be enough to make some people interested in bitcoin.

If you want to spread Bitcoin throughout social networks you will need to register a specific account just for that. You will need to post informative and relevant information in order to attract a large user base. The more quality your posts have more you are likely to succeed, so you should work and prepare your posts before actualy posting them.

It is so easy to spread bitcoins .the simpliest way is promoting it label it with a good words about bitcoins with photo's just post it on facebook ,twitter ,tumbler and other social networking sites .post it about 2-3x a day.

One strange thing I've noticed is that whenever I post links about Bitcoin to my Facebook, unlike generic posts, I hardly get any likes even from young and educated people that are in my FB friend list.

Every one is almost aware of using social media and hence there are several ways to spread bitcoins like face book twitter etc. I am sure people are using them and that's why bitcoins is becoming very popular these days.

i dont think that bitcoin fmous because bitcointalk memer or forum,i know bitcoin from social media also,its not hard to spread bitcoin in social media,keep posting about bitcoin,show what you get from it,and then make or join group of bitcoin,that simple and effective.

You need to talk about the technology [the blockchain system and how it works] to tech-based forums perhaps, and I'd probably talk about the possibility of profiting to the majority of people. Money brings interest, of course!

Talking about anything else would probably make them turn away from the bitcoin community.

Actually there are lots of information about bitcoin out there, and many people know about it, perhaps the most important thing is not to spread more about bitcoin, but to convince people about the importance of joining to this alternate economic system.

People are skeptical about investment, especially if it is a digital one. So i dont think any of these ideas would help bitcoin popularity.

The only thing would help, my opinion, would be if government start to use it. them people would start to belive in bitcoin... right now it's like gambling
for people who dont know about it.

Easy. All you gotta do is to encourage them that it's a currency that we can use to buy items online  anonymously. We don't have to give up our valuable information whenever we have to do a transaction such as our email and stuff *cough*PayPal*cough*

I am very active on Twitter and have seen a lot of marketing for different Bitcoin projects on the platform. I don't use Facebook much but I think it's easier to get people involved with Bitcoin on Facebook rather than Twitter because you could create a page explaining what Bitcoin is and what people could do with it pointing out its advantages etc. and then invite your friends to check it out. This could go viral because your friends could send the link to their friends and so on and the word of Bitcoin will spread to more people while Twitter is more geared towards advanced users who already know about Bitcoin and they mostly use Twitter to keep up with the general trends and news.

the best way of spreading news about bitcoin and making others like bitcoin more while really understanding it, is using videos.

and the good news is that youtube is full of different videos that are also good and informative that you can use.

Its just easy to spread bitcoin in social media.Just include to your post your earnings,and some informative links there so they can study it on their own.Include on your post whats the features of bitcoin and how it works.Posting video presentation would be helpful too.Just explain the important uses  of bitcoin.

you can just share with your fiends your experience with bitcoin and how easy it is to be used. the word of mouth is one of the most successful ways in promoting for anything

I joined a couple of facebook group, and the average has quite a lot of users around 20k and also My timeline is almost all about bitcoin :)

Yeah, joining a group about bitcoin is good too. I mean, your friend can see your status and maybe they can ask you what is that and you can teach them about bitcoin.

You know something sufficient and short just showing how is it that you can make money from bitcoin from the start which is mining to
the end when you have actual paper money in your hands, this way any one can understand and be interested, I wish I had the fund and
resources to do this, only requires a real bitcoiner with good quality camera and 1 day time of editing frames and pictures to make it
Light so every one can easily download it and show it whenever they want to introduce bitcoin.
You could show mining process in a large mining farm though if you had access to one, a presentation that only takes 90 seconds to tell the story of bitcoin.
