Why would it be allowed? As far as I know, it s been banned only in non democratic and barbaric countries.

An if you ask me, i am not spending online either. I am just saving the bitcoins and using it as a long term investment.
Lets hope one day bitcoin will before pubically not only in my country but all over the world.  ;D

In my country Bitcoin hasn't been regulated yet in any way and people use it both as a currency and a store of value. There are businesses accepting payments in Bitcoin mostly online but Localbitcoins sellers can be found and also there are already a few ATM's in different cities. In general Bitcoin is still a gray area when it comes to local laws and such but I haven't seen any adversity towards it by the government so hopefully it will stay that way. Honestly if Bitcoin would become more mainstream by regulation under certain jurisdictions I am all for it as long as this doesn't hurt normal users like me. I would love to see Bitcoin used more in brick and mortar shops around here as well. Anyways Bitcoin is a great technology and it wouldn't make any sense to not be allowed to be utilized by the general population of any country  ;)

In Russia may introduce national cryptocurrency.
But do not rejoice. These washed-pigs and degenerates from the government, going to the currency to license, supervise. the user's identity at the same time will necessarily be identified by the procedure, eliminating any hint of anonymity. It is assumed that after the appearance of "Russian Bitcoin" cryptocurrency others, including the most popular, will be completely banned.

*facepalm*

there are many people use it already, but a few weeks ago, there was a news where bitcoin was declarated as un-allowed money in particular society, they took 6 proofs, but 2 of the proofs are wrong. I think they just don't really know what bitcoin is.

the status is not legal yet as far as I know. hope it will be legal soon.

In my country my government is not bothered about bitcoin and hence it is developing effectively all over my country.

I think this is the best time to make bitcoin more developed. When government will start intervening in bitcoin, people will not be interested in bitcoin business. Hence till the time government is not bothered about bitcoin, I will accumulate more bitcoin.

In my country, Belgium, it's perfectly legal to use Bitcoin, as is in pretty much all of the EU.
Bitcoin isn't viewed as a currency however and you do have to pay taxes if you exchange to fiat.
