What Spazda said. The ascending triangle is a continuation pattern. Lines up perfectly with the halving. Technicals and fundamentals are all good.

Everything is looking great, we will crush the 500 resistance. I don't care if it takes one day, or 2 months, we will crush it, so if you are not holding bitcoin, you are on the losing team, which means you are a complete idiot. Trying to short Bitcoin now is a big mistake. Just buy and hold. Anything under 500 dollars is a god damn steal in 2016.

Yeah buying anything below $500 is the smart investment to make and price will surely go higher at halving and try to buy and hold as much as you can till then.

i don't think so the price looks hard to breaking $500 even china market has push it hard but at bitstamp the trader still hold to not want push the price higher without reason.

This is the only post here that makes any sort of sense. The rest of them are all technical analysis voodoo.  Bitcoin doesn't have "fundamentals" like you think of with stocks.  And I do believe those triangles are deceiving.

No such crashing some resistance in just short time. It's premature. To established good resistance around $500 there musn't be an intentional pump, meaning all just normal market moves alone.

That kind of statement is present back when $500 price hits last year but what happen after that?

Price right now is already crash from 503 according to preev prediction.  and i think we will see the price again high sooner its just a nature of bitcoin more people are converting their bitcoin right now back to bitcoin..

I don't want to see a quick $600. It's purely just a profit taking. If does happen just take advantage.

For price to established it's floor, it must cleaned up the mess so the so called resistance can established.

yeah especially now that the price is above $520 i can say that it is safe to assume $500 is the new bottom and the price is not going to back below it anymore but about the rise to $600 i gotta say it is not impossible but i don't think it will happen soon.

Safe at it is. Just hope that bitcoin price don't get being spoiled by the bad news that can pull the price down.

Last January if I recalled it correctly, we can considered $450 that time as a new bottom since it stays for weeks and support is really present that time. Then Hearn saga happens and Cryptsy fraud leading to massive dumps until $360.

I also share your fear. A quick growth will mean also a quick dump. Like last November. Rinse and repeat.

it's still at 515, i think we can touch 600, not going lower 500 anymore, it was broken two times already, i'm confident we can go much higher this time

breaking the $500 and going down seems not possible any more so i would consider is as the new low.

 but also i think going up is still too soon to say something for sure about it.

Definitely $500 should be the new floor. Heading for $600 or even $700 right now. No big surprise for me if we do hit that target.

The upcoming halving is doing a lot of good work for BTC. It's the boost that is needed for ages now. Hopefully it can do good to the bitcoin community, to sort out the mess bitcoin is in right now.

It's going up so far, like anyone else I would like it if it keeps going up but your speculation can be right we need to give it few more days I guess.

Just hold it for next few weeks and you will see the best price of bitcoin, if it keeps on moving up with same speed then $700 price can be achieved at the time of halving.

Thin air pumps end as quickly as they started usually, so I would be very careful before claiming how far we can go. It is a very long way to $700 and if all we have is 'let's hope' and 'maybe' then I wouldn't bet my money on that.

That is right. I think $700 could be the price a few weeks after the halving. It may be the price in December.

I also think so, price should have tested 600$ before making 550$ as floor (pre halving floor) but failed to do so, thats why i also think price to get stable around 500$.

You have been making all those kind of FUD predictions for life and getting correct 1 out of 10 times which is pretty bad, so I would stop making predictions and stop looking like an idiot consistently as Bitcoin price crushes your FUD prediction each time.

I always think it is better for the price to appreciate slowly every month. I am happy for it to rise 5% a month.

You can already see now that the value of Bitcoin is starting to rise and that is really nice of Bitcoin but you dont even know what will happen in the future later with the currency.
And the halving is also coming so that is really nice for Bitcoin and for the people that already have Bitcoin.

I have the bitcoin for very long time. I watch the price some times. But I do not care too much. I will hold until next decade.

Well things continue to growth at very fast pace. Let's see what will be the reaction when the train stops. Still this growth feels to me more like November 2015 rather than the beginning fo 2014. 

If it rises slowly, no more than 20% a month, I think we will not see the thing simlar to November 2013.

i dont think that is realy true because there are allot of people who say he will only rise till the end of this year and as you can see he is only rising so i dot think he will fall down to 500 this year.

Do not worry. The price of bitcoin will keep on rising. The price could be every high in the distant future.
