These giveaways were meant to give back to the community as a whole; not one or 2 selfish people.

While Jazzhandzers handled his argument and temper terribly he had some key points in a few of the posts he made on the last giveaway; those points being the following:
People can use Scripts
People can use alternate wallets/accounts

The following solutions could be made:
Make it so that only people Jr. member and up can bet
I personally HATE this one as it severely limits people who can try for the free BTC.
Make a registration for acceptable newbies making it so that only those registered newbies can attempt
Still a little restrictive but could help at rooting out the dupes
Disqualify the first response if it's instant as anti-bot
(I have mixed feelings about this one)
Create a blacklist of known users that should be banned from placing bets
(Ineffective)

Note** Jazzhandzers will forever be banned from these giveaways.

Please make suggestions or thoughts below.

I believe in giving away to those who are neglected and starved. It's great to see people like you who like to have these giveaways but if my suggestion counts, I would suggest you to buy some pet food and feed the animals. I do the same for my street dogs and cats. :)

I see your point; but I live in a very small town and there are no strays lol, I feed my cat and dog if that counts for anything XD

Giveaways are fun.  They are your coins, you can give them to whomever you want.  It sucks that some people are taking advantage of your good nature.

Those steps look like good steps, but the simple fact is with all the account farming that has gone on here there really isn't much defense against opportunistic people.

Well, it's good that you have pets at home :)

You could have a contest then where you could ask users to answer few questions or choose a random number, write something creative, post an interesting picture or something that makes the winners deserving of your giveaways.

No solution works 100%. Anonymous people are not honest.
Make it too much work to be worth scamming.

Best way to do it is set stipulations, like have to have so many forum post.
Sooner or later the mods will have to do something to the users who are making accounts.
Just to spam so they can get in giveaways that require you to have so many post's.

Also one way to do giveaways if never give enough for instant cashouts.
I have delt with this issue for a while now, since i started adding min post's the abusers have gone down a lot.

I like that idea actually! Smart! I think I'll do that in the future! This will give everyone a fair shot not just the first 5!

The easiest way is to have an easy challenge hidden in your op.

For example : First 5 people to say an animal with 4 legs get 0.001 (example only)
Another one: Tell me what is my profile id number  on bitcointalk, first 5 get 0.001.

Ask people to do some retarded tasks that only humans can do. I doubt anyone here would waste the time to code a neural network with language analysis just to get 0.001 using that method.

i think continuing this give away would be so much fun and by adding some task make it better if you are getting annoyed by some members here who's taking advantage of it, much better to make some funny games too, i know you are doing it for charity and fun so be it mate. don't stop spreadig your good deeds. hahaha ::)
