Are you asking 3x face value on all coins?  :o

Yes, that's the ask.  I will consider all fair offers.

I suggest you browse the collectibles section first and adjust your prices a bit. Brass 1 BTC coins are being sold for ~1.3 BTC.

Have the 5 and 1s been without cases since you purchased them?

Is that .2 per coin, or .2 for all 5? Thanks!

3x face would be nice; however, it will not work with the larger denom coins.

So, I offer 15BTC as a starting bid/negotiations for the 10 Silver w/ Gold B

The 1s and the 5 have been stored loose in a ziploc bag.

Ok, thanks, was just checking. I don't know much about the value of redeemed cas coins, but I guess they are worth just a bit more than I thought! :P

Based off the 1 year of no posts i'm guessing?

Also just saying for OP. You'll probably get 17-20 for the 10 piece. 7-8 on the 5 piece. And exactly 1.3 on the loaded brass singles.

More to it than that.  No need for details.  I could be wrong; however, I highly doubt it.   Easier to simply say: Be cautious.

I understand the healthy skepticism.

I've successfully executed auctions on here in the past without a hitch.  I'm also the guy behind www.stellaw.info

With the recent uptick in BTC price, I'm trying to sell some of the casascius coins I've been sitting on for a while to be able to purchase a pinball table (which are quite spendy).

My numbers are just asks.  Gotta start high, right?  :)

If you accept the use of escrow then there is no issue here. If you expect payment first then not a chance anyone will buy them.

That smells fishy!

Also if you look at the picture closely, I think the holograms of 1 BTC coins are tampered and a new hologram is placed.
I will be really careful with the 5 BTC and 10 BTC ones.

Not seeing that at all...

Obviously no escrow = no sales unless you have some amazing rep. I allow for escrow in any deal I do even though no one ever asks for it.

The difficulty I have with escrow is how to choose a trustworthy service.  I've heard stories of individuals with reliable histories suddenly flaking out.  Are there escrow services more dependable than individuals on the forum?

I would trust both of them in front of you for many reasons, nothing personal.  Since you dont conduct regular business here there is nothing from stopping you from disappearing after receipt of funds, it is possible blazed and og could do the same but it wouldnt probably make much financial sense to considering the business they conduct here.  Just like being an honest miner....at this point they make much more money by being honest then dishonest is what it comes down to, at least for me it does but yes due your due dillagence when choosing an escrow.....which you will have to do to make any sizable trade on here.

Yeah, its tough.  Wasnt JohnK a well-known reputable escrow service before he just disappeared one day?

I've had escrow with Blazed 2 times now and they were extremely favorable experiences.  Your asking us to compare 2 members of the form as if they are equal when one has a proven track record with other notable members of this forum and the other has been inactive and hasn't made a trade since 2014.

Just my 2 Satoshis.

Just escrow with OgNasty. He will not flake.
A few months back people would have said the same about such members like escrow.ms and master-P now looked what happened there.
Not saying OgNasty would scam at all but you can never really be 100% the same person is behind the account right now, well I guess you could get signed messages to verify so that would help.

You can do all the cross checking you like but at the end of the day you have to put a little trust in someone when dealing like this.

I am interested in one of the redeemed coins but can anyone tell me if these can be refunded with a new hologram logo?

100% true. Anyone can get hacked. However, I'm pretty confident that both of the aforementioned individuals run pretty f'in tight ships. They certainly aren't here on the forum on the same device/PC that they are conducting BTC tx's from, I'm fairly confident of that, only because I know how real computer security works as well.

As for your question about a new holo, sure, but pretty sure it will have to be your own/DIY. I gave my kid one, he loves it. :)

Please don't compare me to other escrow agents.  My history of being honest here goes far beyond any other escrow in amounts they cannot come near.  I am also the only one with my tax identification information on file with the forum.  Not that this is a contest, but c'mon man...  What did master-P or escrow.ms ever do to earn any of the trust they were given as escrow agents?

DISCLAIMER: I am currently holding more than $300,000 in BTC for this forum's members.

Sorry OgNasty i didn't mean to compare your escrow service to theirs just saying that it has happened before, if someone does fall for those type of escrow scams then is often their own fault for not verifing that they are dealing with the correct person by way of a PGP signed message.
I'm sure you provide all the right info to anyone that requests it.

The difficulty I have with escrow is how to choose a trustworthy service.  I've heard stories of individuals with reliable histories suddenly flaking out.  Are there escrow services more dependable than individuals on the forum?

True.  However, the same goes for anything in life for any transaction.

If you don't trust my ratings and history, I will happily use a person with escrow low rated than me.  You have to understand that your history, although not negative, simply doesn't exist for transactions / trade.  Also, your history of coming back after being idle for a year doesn't help.

I would happily purchase all the coins (except for the redeemed one which are worthless to me), although I am only interested in the 10BTC silver  So, I would just sell off the others.  It might make it easier if you sell/trust one person instead of several transactions.

Yes, JohnK kind of disappeared as escrow; however, he didn't leave having scammed people (that I know of).  Personally, I trust people with actual trades more than escrow ratings.  And, I trust someone with escrow trades more than someone with simply a lot of post.

Blazed was mentioned.  I would trust him and suggest him as escrow even if you don't sell to me.  Others as well; however, from my experience, Blazed is familiar with physical crypto.

What would be nice to see is much better pictures.

Nothing prevent you for creating your own private key and place it under your own hologram and in this way refund the coin.

I don't assume you mean refund them with a new original Casascius hologram, there was a time were mike did this service but that is long time ago, and for sure not an option any more.
For obviously reason are there no "spare" Casascius hologram floating around, that would be a serious security breach.

Reminded me of Nightowlace answer to a similar question, lol :D

Do you by anny chance have a set of extra hologram sticker for casascius coin? In This case pm me would be very interested in buying one

Yeah sure let me pull out my spare roll of Casascius Holograms. You want the 2011 error ones?  ::)
