Title: Looking for Bitcoin-Poker Sites
Post by: BTCGambler on May 30, 2016, 04:30:59 PM
Hello fellow Bitcoin-Gamblers,

as my name suggests I like to gamble with bitcoins and my preferred way of gambling is playing poker.
I am a high volume player and already found about betcoin.ag which is an awesome Site. I love to play poker there.

Bute unfortunately bitcoin-Poker Sites aren't that well established yet so I can't get poker action everytime I want on betcoin.
So I am looking to play on more sites and I've looked through the posts a bit already and nitrogensports seems interesting. I definitely gonna try that.

Other than that, if there are people or promoters from gambling sites who can recommend me a site to play on or even promote their own site I am very happy to hear them out, so please give me alle suggestions and information you have.

For me it is important that the rake is fair, the action is decent and not only durng like 1-2h of the day. Cashouts should be fast and customer support shouldn't take too long to answer questions or inquiries.
Preferred are sites with a downloadable client, but thats not a must. As I see nitrogensports doesn't ave a client to download.

I also downloaded swcpoker and CybeDeck Poker, but they seem to be very dead in regards to traffic.

I'm looking forward to any suggestions.

Thanks everyone and keep the gamble flowing.

Cheers,
BTCGambler

Their are lot of bitcoin poker sites, some of them are fortunejack, nitrogen etc, they all are good sites where you can play poker with online users.

You can try this site https://bitcoinvideocasino.com/videopoker
Its an old site here but few months ago is my last play on this site.

You can also try playtodos
here http://playtodos.com
Which is you can install the apps poker and binggo
In poker you can buy your own table and invite player there that you can earn why you are watching also you can sit and play..

I still want to say that swcpoker is my favorite. For MTTs: great value and even overlay. But yes, if you are a high volume cash player, the traffic is a bit disappointing unfortunately :( You could try the "Request action" (icon "!") button though, this promotes your table in chat.

Overall you pretty much named them all :P

There are some more traditional sites that are starting to accept bitcoin like ACR and Bovada but it is always a mystery if they will really let you withdraw in bitcoin :( (obviously they have no problem letting you deposit in bitcoin though.) AFAIK those more "traditional sites", also don't really share the same "bitcoin vision" (read: slow support, many KYC/AML procedures, etc.)

Thanks! everyone, I heard fortunejack makes trouble with deposits/withdrawls and support isn't that great? Also the main Account of fortunaejack has negative trust, so I rather stay away from then at the moment.

And I only look for Poker where I play poker against other users/human beings, so thanks for your input socks435, but no thanks.

Hmm, so it seems that there aren't realy that much as I hope there would be. Thats sad. But I still take any advice or tipp.

Thanks NLNioco, and yeah MTTs aren't really my thing, but cash games and it is important for me to deposit but also to play in bitcoins, as far as i understand ACR exchanges your coins into $. I want it to be full BTC deposit-play-withdraw. But thanks for your input :)

Well count in Betcoin.ag as well. This is a great poker site with great tourneys and has most users online IMO. But their support staff is slow in processing withdrawals. However there is another one: - luckyflop.eu. This site also was famous 1-2years ago but somehow they have lost their users. I do love the luckyflop.eu point system to get entry to some of their poker events.

May be having multiple players at the same time is an issue.

You can try this site https://bitcoinvideocasino.com/videopoker
Its an old site here but few months ago is my last play on this site.

I think OP is asking for pvp poker game instead of videopoker game.

You can also try playtodos

In poker you can buy your own table and invite player there that you can earn why you are watching also you can sit and play..

Played on this site few times in the past when their rep is active in this forum, their software was looks so bad at first launch (not really sure how it looks like now)
When did the last time you play? Are there many active players? The good thing on this site is players can play for free because there is daily free chips unless they have removed it.

Betcoin Poker room has the most potential.  Currently it is summer and traffic slows down a bit.  Come late summer and early fall expect a major increase in traffic.  On top of the Betcoin Poker room has the best rewards, traffic, tournaments and perks.

Also solid marketing strategies are being set in place to let the masses know about the advantages and perks of the Betcoin Poker room and Bitcoin in general.

Would say every bitcoin poker site has their draw backs. Like none of them offer hand histories to verify if their rng is running correct or the loose enforcement of multi accounts.

FJ seems to have handed their platform over to a South American skin that offers high limits to play but every player is usually Argentinian. Been wanting to find out more about the schedule or the skin they are running off to check the schedule but get stone walled in every aspect of support. So unable to see when things run is a big issue for me.

Nitrogensports has a rng that seems to run suspect and I am not the only person to notice this.
There are a lot of split pots that are usually preflop allins, which just generate rake for the house.
Alot of bad beats that out weigh profit if you play anything under 100NL.

Seals
If you can get on it thats good I guess, the owners have done little for the site since Micon left.

Betcoin
They seem to have the most people playing but I see a lot of bitching about them as well,so who knows.

The one site I think is going to do positive things in the future, although its still to early to tell is Cyberdeckpoker.
They have a verified rng, which no other site has done. They have also taken cheating seriously in my short time playing with them, which tells me it is not a lip service gesture like other sites give. So hoping they do well and I would keep a eye on them when they finally launch with the new system.

If you're willing to convert to Doge, I remember using PokerShibes in the past, they usually have some traffic. (Usually quite low stakes though)
You can use something like ShapeShift to convert quickly if you don't mind losing some in conversion fees.

Hey,

You're already playing at betcoin.ag but there are other skins that are involved with that network that accept a bitcoin gateway.  Poker is my thing too so....we have a common interest.  The advantage to playing on some of the other skins on the network is that they also pool their cash game players as well their tournament players. Betcoin.ag is in a branch of the network that only shares the tournament player pool.  Look up the Winning Poker Network and you'll find the main skins.  Also, Bodog or Bovada just recently started accepting bitcoin if you haven't already received the emails.

EDIT:  WPN's, America's Cardroom, has a thread here somewhere.

One of the advantages Betcoin has over sister sites of WPN is that its payment processing of Bitcoin is a lot smoother.  Sites that use a 3rd party payment processor of Bitcoin tend to face a fair amount of difficulties.

Since Xiaoxiao is not addressing the issue I think for clarity it should be stated. Xiaoxiao is a major affiliate for Betcoin and so any endorsing he is doing for the site should be seen as shill.
No idea why it is allowed but I wanted those folks that walk into this thread to know the full dynamic at hand.

Yes, I agree.  Betcoin.ag has the best and fastest withdrawal process of all the skins in the network.  I know that Phil thinks his personal franchises (ACR, BCP, and TRUE) are the fasted in the industry, but it's not even close.  Plus, and I don't know why, they still require docs for first time processing, even though one's using bitcoin.  Cash game volume is better on the main skins though, that is a huge plus.  But, Betcoin's volume is increasing (+1).

I assume https://casino.directbet.eu/ offers a good Poker game. Though I'm not a fan of poker, every games in the site are great.
The poker of that casino site is playing with the house 1 vs 1. Not playing with many player in the table. I prefer you to play in nitrogensports.eu and betcoin.ag (Using client soft to play) the both is good site to play poker and also offer instant withdrawals.

Thank you everyone for all your input. It's very appreciatedd! As I am trying to play for bitcoins only if thats even possible, but I think at the moment there just isn't too much action.

@Evildrum: thanks for your inout and listing and your experience. I didn't know cyberdeck hasn't launched yet, I thought they are already in full running. I have their software installed since you could download it, but I just haven't played there yet because everytime I open the software there are may 5 pppl online and maximum 1 player seatint an I cannot even that 1 guy becauase all tables seem to be empty. But I definitely look forward to see them increase their playerpool and will check em out for sure once there are more games.

I'm very hesitant with FortuneJack though, because I read a lot of bad stuff from them on the forums and even their MAIN Account on this forum has negative trust feeback so I am very cautious to give them my coins as I am not sure they will handle them responsibly and I heard peopl  have a lot of problems with cashouts which is like the absolute NOGO especially when it comes to bitcoins when Cashouts can be done so fast.

SwC just seems to be dead as well. I open their software from time to time but there are only pppl sitting at headsup tables and waiting for action(which i assume are gonna be solid players anyway) and sometime there is very lowstakes action going. I need at least a regula .25/.50mBTC game, and prefer it to be .50/1mBTC and higher (or lets say NL50 and NL100+)

Nitrogen seem pretty good so far as well, with a little bit of action, and I don't mind palying on the webbrowser, but for the love of God I cannot create an account there, I can only use  the "guest" account because everytime I want to create a uer and password the software kicks me out I don't know why.

Betcoin
It's noproblem that xiao is heavily related to betcoin and proposes it hear. In my OP I stated I want everybody to give me a suggestions even if it's your own site you are promoting. I'm capable of my own judgement and I just wanted to figure out what kind of market there is out there for bitcoin poker. So advertisement is fine as well, as long as it makes sense, not like the ppl that post videopoker or other against the house poker.
And so far I have to admit that betcoin.ag  is by far the best site to play on for bitcoins. Software is stable enough because it uses the WPN software, nice torunaments(which doesnt interest me too much but it's a nice bouns) because they play together with the WPN pool. Solid VIP System and rakeback and fast with cashouts.

The problem I have with other Sites from WPN is, that you deposit in Bitcoin, but you don't play in bitcoin and you can't cashout in bitcoin. For me it is very important taht it is 100% bitcoin. Also I am not from the US, but EU, so I cant play on bodog and bovada, would love to though.

==============================================================================================0

@jambola2: This thought haven't even crossed my mind to look for poker with altcoins instead of BTC. At this moment I'm mostly looking for BTC but I will definitely checkout the site and maybe have a look if there are poker sites that play with different interesting currencies. Thank you very much for the input and inspiration!

I bet this post is gonna be TL;DR for a lot of folks again :P but it'S ok. Thanks for all your input and if you guys have more to shar just let me know!

Cheers!

To update my gripe against Nitrogen, they have reached out and have told me that they are now setting in action to provide hand histories but it will take some time. So that is progress and their platform is one of the smoothest running I have come across so far.

FortuneJack is a real odd duck,I got a response in their thread to two of my posts but they seem to have missed the whole question, they thought I was asking about tournies when I was asking about sngs! There seems to be a language issue as the reason why they are curt in live support and none response to emails.
For small deposits they are fine, but I do not know the thresh hold for where they slow down transfers.

Good news, the nitrogen one, that is. I also deposited some money yesterday and played a bit and for a webbrowser Software I definitely agree. Its very smooth and an enjoyable experience to play. Will definitely tay there for a bit and see how things develop. If they prove their integrity to the games with HHs and maybe by also using a respected source to check their RNG, even better. after betcoin nitrogen seems to be the no. 2 goto place for bitcon poker.

and yeah the FJ dilemma, I will check their thread from time to time and see how things develop, so far it doesn't ook too good though and I'd rather stay away.

nitrogen My favorite poker sites, despite not having a lot of users, but in fact I like it, because it does not have to wait too long every I play tournament. Other sites betcoin.ag yeah have enough users. and both are my favorite sites
