Title: HyperStake Mining
Post by: FabriFibra on May 31, 2016, 08:51:31 AM
Good day to all of you

First of all, I hope I post this topic on the right subforum, and I'd like to apologize if my english is not really understandible, I'm italian  :D

I got the HyperStake desktop wallet, which does not sync at all. I downloaded the current bootstrap.dat file and loaded it. Do I understand it properly that I can get HyperStake coins through this wallet? I really get the theory behind cryptocurrencies and I know the differences of bitcoin and HyperStake, but I'm a total newbie on practical use of the wallet. How can I mine HyperStakes?

I want to do this to gain some new experiences and I really hope that someone can help me with this.

Have a nice day  :D

Welcome to the forum. First thing first, Hyperstake is now in a POS stage, this means that you cant mine it anymore with your computer. You have to buy Hyperstake from an exchange and stake it in your wallet. kinda like interest in a bank account.

Secondly you have to paste your bootstrap file in your roaming file for hyperstake.
I hope that answers your questions.

Well actually I got even more questions now  ;D

So I can't generate any new coins? I claimed like 100 hyperStake Coins on cryptospout's faucet and used the address generated from my unsynced wallet. But I don't even get the wallet to sync? How can I do this?

Thank you for your answer!
