The price has increased hugely over the last week, im regretting not buying some now....

Do you think the price will continue to go up ? shall i buy another coin and keep it though the halving to sell after?

While one can never be 100% sure when it comes to Bitcoin, it's already mature enough to maintain this price, so IMO it can only go up from here, especially in light of the upcoming halving.

I think its not too late to buy some bitcoins because we are expecting it will rech more than $600 this halving maybe $750-$800 as i expected .
If ihave money right now i will buy more or and even save it and wait again for the next halving.

To be honest, that is an absurd opinion. How can you be very sure that the prices of Bitcoin will never drop to $400~ or less in upcoming months/years? Also, IMHO, there is no guarantee that the prices will increase a lot even though halving is just around the corner. It could be otherwise. Who knows?

Did you even read the premise of my post? It is expected that the price will go up, there are several factors in favor of this, but of course you can never know for sure!

Nobody can ever be 100% certain with any prediction but I think it's safe to assume that the price will rise significantly again as a result of the halving.

So yes, buy now or cry later.

i think yes, remember the last pump? this look the same, adouble top maybe with 600-700 new high, i'm going to buy more at this level easy profit for the future

The best time to buy is before increasing, if you think that bitcoin prices will go up for the halving you can buy now. But you can think that prices could go a bit down before scaling for halving, in this case wait some days.
Its impossible to know when its the correct time and price to buy or to sell.

Yeah and I think we should wait for few days to buy bitcoin and see if price drops or not, and if it doesn't drop then can afford to buy with existing price too, as price will surely go higher at halving.

You see now indeed that the value of the price is rising slowly and it wont be that bad if you are making an investment now and that is because you can earn profit later.
Before you start to make an investment you have to be for sure that you have to wait a long time until the value will be higher.

as long as you asking this question here you will never be successful, you should come up with these things on your own.

so far price looks to be rising only and even when I expected it to fall back because of the sudden rise (that huge rise that you mentioned) it didn't happen and instead price went up even more.

so the question is how long do you want to hold?
short time: then wait to see if price goes down a little or not
long time: but now before it is too late and we are at above $600

I will not suggest you to buy at this pumped price however this price doesn't seem to be just a classic pump and dump but it is always advisable not to buy at top of the pumped price. But buying at even 500$ price will be profitable in long run this year.

From what I can remember people used to talk the same about ATH price in 2013. There was huge positivity that - world has learned that bitcoin is the best and this is new 'new stable price'.

This time is no different guys, price WILL drop. This time spike is caused by Chinese traders and depositors who are transferring money outside China in form of BTC. When they are done - price will drop.

Same here I have stopped buying at this stage as I think price will drop in coming days and that would be the perfect time to buy, as price is relatively high now.

I think is risky to buy right now but its always the best to buy because its still increase more sooner or later or after block halving so the more you have bitcoin the more you can make a profit..

I would say it is difficult to predict the situation as it is now. prices could fall, but if you are willing to take risks and believe prices will rise, it is no problem to buy at the current time

The buying time is coming, as the price is slowly lowering.

If you are really wanting to buy yourself some coins, then do it now as the price is dropping a bit now. Don't make yourself regret you having not bought once again. Don't wait.

I agree, and I think you should probably buy now.  If the price continues to rise, you'll continue to regret not buying if you don't.   I'd stay away from altcoins if I were you.

If you plan to hold the bought coin at least until the end of this year, buying now is not wrong imo.
Sure the price can always go lower, but it can also continue to rise.And with the reward getting cut in half soon I expect a higher price as it is now for the end of this year.

if you have no coins at all then i would buy with 50% of the money you have for investment purposes. the other 50% is for when the price tanks down even deeper. it's basically a win win for you. if the price goes up you benefit from the increase as you bought yourself some coins, and when the price goes down you benefit as well as you get the possibility to increase your coin count at lower rates.

Yes if you have faith in potential of bitcoin then you can even buy with current price as it is predicted that price will be around $1k at the end of the year.

50% seems rather a lot at the moment. I would use 10% to buy right now. Since i do expect the price could go down in a matter of minutes. That's the nature of bitcoin and yes you should be very careful with your money.

Yes is higher now, cannot afford to put all money into it at this stage there is no assurance that price will rise at the time of halving.

if i were you, i would wait another week or so. im certain the price is going to go back down soon. if you buy now and the price drops youre gonna feel much worse than if u didnt.

The thing is that we don't know if the price goes up or down from the current levels today. If you don't have any coins then buy right now. If you already hold some coins and just want to increase the number of coins that you have, then I would rather wait a bit with investing at these prices.

the price is over $500 now and all the prices you will see even if there is a little back track will be above $500 so it is up to you to decide what price can be good to buy at.
but make sure not to wait for so long because you will miss out.

The price will rise indeed so it wont be the best moment to buy Bitcoin now because if you want to make an investment in Bitcoin you have to buy it low and that is all.
But the most people are also thinking that the value will now rise for a long time because it was already stable for a long time.

The price is rising but now is not the time to sell your bitcoins because the halving can happen any time soon. It would be better to sell coins right now and buy again when the halving has happened.

I think the current price of $540 is very cheap compared to the price in a few months and years.

this price rise is different from any other price rise, it has taken a long time to get there and it is stable now so it will not go down so you can easily find the floor to buy at if you have missed the chance to buy below 500

If the price stays around $530 for a few more weeks, then it will not go down to $500. It is pumped big, it will drop to below $500 later.

i buy 50% at a certain price to have plenty of coins in my wallet, and after that i have another 50% left, but that doesn't mean i use the other 50% at once. after that i keep buying with 10% each time. it allows me to buy 5 more times on the way down. since the beginning of me being a trader i use that method, and so far i can happily say that i have never made any losses.

well maybe if the price goes up, I will stop to buy bitcoin in a while, it may be very harmful if you buy bitcoin when its prices are rising, and not long after that his prices suddenly dropped

I think this is not the best time to buy because the price is very high and i think it will reduce just give a patience.
But i think you can still make a profit even you buy right now..

it might be better if you buy armpits price is still $ 400, but that is not possible, if you believe the price of bitcoin will be even higher, I advise to buy it, if the price goes down when you buy it, you can use it to trade bitcoin

Yes you could buy them right now because I think we can be sure of profit this year, there are no price increases and I also think the halving will be good this year.

yes i am sure that price will rise in future too,by future i mean this and other month, because of halving, people buy many bitcoins now to get profit from them after huge price rise

but even if price is large now, i think that you still should buy some bitcoins as price after some time will be much larger than now so i am sure that you will manage to get some profit

the current price is $580. I can not say this is the right time, because the price is too high. but if you believe it will rise higher, buy now was not a problem

best thing is to just buy when the price is getting dumped down heavily. once in a while this happens. you just need to make sure you use that significant price drop in your advantage to buy as many coins as you can. a lot people are afraid of buying when the price goes down, while in fact it should make you happy as you get to buy cheap coins.

Well you will never find the perfect entry point.If your plan is to invest for a longer period of time getting in now definitely will not be too late.Sooner or later we will see a new ATH imo!
For day traders the situation might look different though.

For me its too late to buy now, almost all of us expecting more to.rise the value then if not its also good one to hold it for now and wait for the next halving .

Yeah, you are true, but I have started to buy and collect more bitcoins as already I have wasted a lot of time and opportunities in not buying, but this time not.

Price is falling now as it was $590 in the morning and it dropped to $569. I was expecting it not to reach $600 so soon and hence I will recommend you to buy after halving gets over (hopefully the price is still above 550).

I think more drop will come for the price today.. its a nature of bitcoin whales and bulls.. many traders i think they are selling some of their bitcoin so that they can make a profit once the price reduce the're convert it again back to bitcoint to make a profit . this is why we see that the price will reduce and increase..

A big drop is inevitable although i don't see it happening before the halving. Everything is now upto the halving which makes things quite tense if you ask me.
Because my biggest fear is the price will go down sub 200 after the halving.

so obviously it was too late, I had bought when prices under $500. all have been advised to buy when the price under $500, but they may be hesitant to it, so when the price has been as in the current situation, they regret.

You can buy right now if you have the money but you will have to sell soon because then you can still make a profit before the halving is going to start happening. It is also possible to buy after the halving when maybe the price is a bit lower again.

It will be not that bad if you are buying now and that is because you can even sell it later and have some profit after the price rise, but it can just takes a long time only.
And you can indeed see now already that the value of Bitcoin is rising slowly so that is nice.

Before a big drop you need some really big price movement!
And have we seen that so far?No!
Right now Bitcoin is in a bullish phase, which means upwards movement in general.But we are far away from a big bubble at the moment!
So I can not see a big drop coming, and definitely not a price of sub $200!

If the price just rise 1-2% a week, the price rise will be sustainable. There will not be a big drop later.
