For anonymity sure but do your research with whichever you'll go with (exchange rate, fee etc..) not all are same.

How having a bitcoin debit card is good for anonymity ? I don't get it . those cards defeat the whole purpose of using bitcoin in the first place . You won't be able to get those cards unless you provide real information's like ID and residence etc , It's not recommended to use them if you care about your privacy otherwise just go head and use them.

I don't see any connection of anonymous transaction when using bitcoin debit cards.

A debit card provider needs all your details and that will include your personal info.

Anonymity has given Bitcoin a bad name.  No more anonymity.  Fucking stoners.

Now i think its not a good thing to buy it so for me bitcoin debit card is useless because im only earning here, im only small time earning so i dont think that bitcoin debit card is a good thing to buy. But In future its good thing to buy it. Many bitcoin user will buy it because they want use their earning directly to the shop. But for me its good because in future im.earning big amount of bitcoin so i need it to my shopping time.

Well, it depends. If you're earning bitcoins, as a backup plan, it might be a good option to have a bitcoin debit.

When your actual debit or creditcard won't work or anything like that, you can easily use your Bitcoin debit card, if you're out of funds in it, you can easily get it refilled.

But as far as I remember, the transaction fee is a bit much for the reloadable bitcoin cards.

it's worth thing to buy i guess,i've owned 4 cards from different card provider so far,i use most of them to buy stuff which can't be paid thru bitcoin just like digitalocean or another hosting stuff, but it can be used for verifying paypal too even the advantages are less than using real credit card, but as long it'll help you it's a worthy thing

I tried my best to find few reliable sites, but its not worth the risk.

Bitcoin debit cards would allow you to spend your Bitcoins basically anywhere both online and offline where Visa and MasterCard cards are accepted at an increased cost though because Bitcoin debit cards usually have higher fees than bank-issued debit cards. But if convenience is what you are looking for go for it I guess. Also you would be able to withdraw cash via ATM's without the need for a bank account which is a big plus in some places of residence. If I were you I would carefully look into the advantages and disadvantages of Bitcoin debit cards and compare them to other methods of exchanging and withdrawing Bitcoins before making a decision.

What kind of risks you talking about? Share your experience with us and let us know too.

What's the point when you just come here and say I tried but they don't worth the risk.

It's neither helping the OP for what he asked, nor it's giving us any hint if what it was.

There are few bitcoin cards issued by few signature campaign authorities. It has got limited access but the usability is pretty good and gives ease of access in cash out and converting to fiat.

I think this is a good start but afterall you are kind of like converting bitcoin back to fiat... The company that issue the cards maybe benefiting from the exchange rate.

That is completely true, the key of having Bitcoin is that people cannot come behind your information. If Bitcoin decides to come with some card that is going to change this factor.

I would always recommend Bitcoin debit cards because I have very good experience. It's probably the best way to spend your coins for everyday purpose, it's simple and convenient. Fees are resonable so.I can't say anything against it.

I completely disagree. BitCoin Debit cards are good for BitCoin because they increase adoption and put more transactions on the ledger. Without the debit card, BitCoin isn't much of a currency because NOBODY in the world accepts BitCoin, without the card, BitCoin is merely just an investment like a stock that people hope will go up so they can make a profit.

The with the CoinBase and Shift Financial card, there are 0 transaction fees. What it cost is what you paid.

It's definitely worth it to buy bitcoin debit cards because it is highly convenient and pretty much like any other debit cards, except that most btc debit cards do not have any transaction fees at all.

It depends.Such a card offers you to pay almost everywhere with Bitcoin.
The disadvantage imo are the fees. And I myself see no reason why I should use a visa or mastecard to pay with Bitcoin.
I wanna pay with Bitcoin directly and without the use of of the traditional payment services.
To me this is like owning a car and you let it pull by a horse. This makes no sense!

Title: Re: Bitcoin Debit Cards

But neither Bitcoin debit cards nor Bitcoin exchanges are anonymous because you need to provide your ID and home address or a P.O box in order to get the card shipped to you. I think the only truly anonymous method of exchanging Bitcoin is through a private seller on Localbitcoins. But Bitcoin debit cards aside from the compromised anonymity offer a lot of advantages like being able to shop at places where Bitcoin is not accepted yet and being able to withdraw cash from ATM when you please. If you are a frequent user of debit cards online and offline I think it's a great idea to invest in a Bitcoin debit card of your choice.

I think it is relatively easy to use a Bitcoin debit card, depending on who you get it through. Xapo makes a decent one from what I remember, and it just uses the Visa network to make transactions. It should be relatively easy one you get past that point, or at least when everyone has a credit card reader, which operates in basically the same way.

There are things that is good and also bad
Good if the price of bitcoin is continue rising
Bad if the price of bitcoin is dumping
Possible if the price is stable like our present currency which will base on the economy of the country because the price of bitcoin the basis is the demand of the users.

Its funny to hear from you! Bitcoin debit card first announced from Coinbase and purse.IO at first time. Even I have received as well. You can get card easily in the sites like spectrocoin, bitx and Etc...
You can save some exchange fund by using bitcoin debit card because there is no exchange charges and all, So you could happily go with that.

Obviously, these reloadable cards charge alot on each transaction, as they're not local. They're international and charge you for international

I don't think they have to accept bitcoin in order to use this card, it will automatically be convereted into the local currency I guess.

Actually they do have high charges, the price of the card is not cheap, the limits aren't high unless you've verified it. There's fees when depositing and exchanging the Bitcoin and finally the currency conversion fees.

Bitcoin debit cards are great if you genuinely want to use Bitcoin as much as possible and don't care about the fees. They are still quite pricey as of now due to the rarity.

I think Neteller accepts Bitcoin deposits from EU customers right guys? I was thinking of depositing some Bitcoin there and use their free virtual Neteller debit card funded by Bitcoin to purchase goods online where Bitcoin is not directly accepted. I don't want a physical Bitcoin debit card because I would pay much more in fees with these than virtual debit cards. Has anyone else tried this method yet?

I would say use Spectrocoin card, or Coinsbank. I use both and i haven't ever got any problem.
The fact those companies exist long (coinsbank for years) makes it even better.

Depends on you, actually.
Bitcoin debit cards offer quite a lot of convenience because you can spend your bitcoins directly from stores and such. The debit card "brand" will convert your bitcoins into fiat to the current value.

Although it kinda is no different from any other debit cards when it comes to information because before you get a debit card, you surrender your information to them.
