Avalon has three hashing units doing little over 20GH/s each. PrimeAsic has four hashing units, also doing ~20GHz each. Avalon with three hashing units uses around 620W. This equals to ~200W/hashing unit PrimeAsic with four hashing units uses around 800W. Also 200W/hashing unit. ????? Can this be a coincidence? Are these companies co-operating? That is possible and one option yes, but what's the point? Having several devices with four modules for resale purpose and keeping all those that have only two. Makes no sense.
