Edit: the source shows 100 block of zero reward.

Seem like the mining has stopped

I'm using uNOMP and first time i see a miscalculation like that. I believe coin OP should answer what is wrong with this coin block payouts? I'll wait an answer from OP and maybe reset the pool to default. I earn 2% block based and i got this payment as mining; that's why pool wallet is totaly seperated from me.

Thank you for your post, I am sending this to the coin dev to investigate, I contacted coinminers and it seems their payout work out right for the miners and they receive mined coins.

One thing I can think of is does these miners have the right wallet?

Pool wallet has also compiled with new wallet... If this is also the old wallet, that means terrible news... Miners spent money to mine and i've also spent money to catch first blocks...  

Coinminers have no issue with this coin and miners get payouts.

I have never updated the wallet because i was not used the old wallet. Directly began from the beginning... The funny thing is my Windows wallet could get payments... really weird. This only works for me  ???

Nope. Once i learnt that the wallet has problems, i've totaly destroyed and recreated... Well, something wrong... which means i'm going to wipe every single thing and retry... coz uNOMP never let me down till today...

2) with other pool coin-miners in 2 hours already I gained 3500 2flav who are already in my wallet and then there is some problem because with nicehash I 've done eight hours with an average speed of 11 ths.
So the only thing impossible is that I gained VERY LITTLE (that i am still waiting in my wallet)

Ok it worked. Now where is the wallet executable? I can only find FlavorCoind which is not the wallet. It would be nice if you could add more information to the README so people can actually use this. You can't simply assume that everybody knows how this works.

Weight is about 12k. It says expected time to earn reward is 12 hours, so I guess that explains it. Why is this time so long?

Why is 2fav wallet in Maintenance on Yobit? I dunno why people even trust this crooked exchange. They do this on purpose to prevent people.

This is an interesting coin. Shouldn't the market cap go back to its previous value for this new version over time? Then this would be an easy high-return investment, because the price is far lower right now.

At this point the best strategy is to hold and keep coins in wallet for staking. When PoS high reward will be over, I think, price will be approx. @500 and higher.

I think the market cap could go back to its 1 Mio. as soon as there is something more substantial about this than posting music on Twitter.  ;)  Because that has nothing to do with a crypto currency yet. You need to create a real use case for the coin.

Progress report

We are busy to finalise the licenses we need for our 24/7 music radio stream. We believe it is important to do everything to the book and for that reason we will acquire the necessary radio licences.

Our radio stream will be live soon.

It is going to be 24/7 music radio stream with advertising space for the crypto community and social media.

Once this is done we will include interviews about Crypto Currencies, we would like to make 2flav radio the place of choice to advertise crypto currencies and conduct interviews.

Obviously all the above services will be paid in 2flav.

I was only seeing this as an investment so far and didn't really care about the music. But that song, ‘Missing Home (feat. Always Never)’ by Tilka, is really good! I love it!

This project just made a jump up in value for me. If you are distributing music that is as good as this, for free, we are really going to go places! I've just started to see the opportunities. License free music. Users voting with 2flav. Live stream broadcasting. Bringing independent artists to the masses. This project has the potential to get mass adoption, at least some 20k users streaming. And with that, may be one of the first cryptocoins achieving mass adoption. Via the vehicle of music.

Maybe you should get a real website at some point. Please start with updating the ANN, the unformatted "Roadmap" section is still a mess (and it's not about the roadmap either). I already did it for you, you just have to copy and paste. This project may be about audio and music first but the visuals are a big deal as well. Think about visuals as "priming" the brain for quality. Like listening to organ music in a church, compared to listening to organ music via headphones at a messy train station. It does make a difference, even though the music is the same.

Uhm, regarding advertisement in the live stream, you should really think about that again. It has to be cool. Ads are not cool. (This might sound familiar but it's just true). Instead of off-the-stack ads, you might rather give people the opportunity to introduce their product to the audience, to *talk* about it, like an interview or little talk show, rather than throwing annoying ads at them. This kind of advertisement is more friendly, more authentic and therefore more effective. You should only allow people introduce their product if you think it's authentic and might actually help people. This will revolutionize the world of advertising on the fly.

I spoke to Church on Yobit today and he told me that he's in the middle of some licensing stuff. One license has been obtained and he is waiting for the next one.

You could also let users vote with 2flav and donate like 90% of it to the artist they are voting for. That way people can support their favorite artist in two different ways, by donating some money to them and also bringing new listeners and possibly new donators. This is social crowdfunding for music. And your station will get 10% of donations, no need to search for good music because the fans will submit it to you to support their artists, and will always be playing the best fresh music one can find.

You could select the amount of songs from that artist proportional to the amount of 2flav used for voting. That way you'll also be able to fill your stream 24/7 while still taking votes into account.

If an artist does not accept donations, you can just save the 2flav coins (90% of the original donation) in a wallet until the artist accepts them. That way you are just taking them out of the market which will increase the price.

For all of this you'll need some kind of website of course, and an easier way to get 2flav than USD->BTC-Exhange->Yobit->2flav-wallet which is too complicated for mass adoption. The most critical point for mass adoption will be how to make the process of getting and spending 2flav as accessible as possible, without people having to deal with weird 40-characters long crypto addresses and having to learn how to use Yobit. This is the real innovative problem you'll have to solve. Until then, we'll only have crypto insiders being able to vote, which of course is a good first step. It could be part of the roadmap.

Just noticed that the ANN seems to be wrong, it says the maximum coin supply is 9 000 000 but we're at 18 640 079 already, according to http://2flav.explorers.altcoinsteps.com/. It doesn't make much sense to talk about any "maximum supply" here anyway because the POS reward will not go to zero according to the specs, right?

What do these numbers mean?


Also the "Available coin supply" on coinmarketcap (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/flavorcoin/) says 4,205,631 which seems to be outdated because even the first bunch of bagholders of this coin are holding more than 4mio. Please church explain some things :)

Price-wise, the coin is doing well.Few weeks ago it was traded at 40-50.One day, a guy with a BOT and an auto-mouse clicker decided to pump the coin to 190sat.Later he dumped somewhere at 60-70 sat.
So,not considering the always abnormal rise of price during pump phase,the price is up.

Just what I have been saying all the time. These guys don't want to listen. You might join the Slack to get some more info, PM church about an invite. The current "plan" is to build up more Twitter followers ... which CAN work, he's building breadth first and depth later. The Twitter gateway on Slack is giving some insight into that.

The plan with regard to the software is, from my understanding, just to have a dedicated blockchain for music promotion. There is no further plan other than using basic Bitcoin features in the wallet. The promotion itself will be centralized to the Flavorcoin project and the music radio. People spend coins to have their music promoted. That's the use case. For promotion you need a large social network, so that's what's happening right now, and will be happening in the next months, besides adding more music to the radio channel. The promotion network will just grow slowly and steadily, until the first people try to pay him to promote their music. Then the coin's price will explode to Mars. Church knows how to build a promotion network, so this is what will happen eventually.

Dev just gives a damn about this forum, the coding action has already been done, the main action is happening on Twitter now. Just do it like me, fill your bags with 2flav and enjoy the show.  8)

Look for the ports in the conf folder. There is no specified port. You can use any port of your choice provided they're free and can be used for one coin only.

I've been holding a nice bunch of 2Flav for a while, and I have a good impression of this coin (also made some profit from it which is always good in trading ;P), but I have to ask, since it's been buggin me, what kind of plans the dev, and community, have for this coin? what is max supply, or does this even have max supply?

I can confirm that things are happening in the background. Some additional people (me included) have agreed to spend some money and time to bring this project forward technology-wise, hopefully we will have a better ANN post soon, and some extensions to the wallet will be made in the upcoming weeks and months.

There are different visions for this project currently being discussed on Slack, about how blockchain technology and the music industry can be brought together. Stay tuned and accumulate coins as long as we're still in the reflection phase.  ;)

I'm sure it will not "kill the coin" if you decide to cut your losses ... the future of this project does not depend on the price, but on future ideas. It is not a get-rich-quick scheme, price may go up or down. You can be patient and hold, or decide to dump, it doesn't matter. Also I will make sure that the price won't go lower than 20 sat.  ;)

I've recently been brainstorming with church a bit about future ideas, but no clear results yet. Unfortunately it seems that 'alyssapink' (chooch) also left the Slack because he/she designed a draft for a new and pretty detailed ANN text, but church didn't like it. I'm sure we will figure it out sooner or later. The real problem is that there is no actual idea of HOW to use the 2FLAV coin yet, but maybe there will in the future!  :D Until then it is just a "promotional coin" as church likes to call it. He is using it as a "vehicle" to promote music on Twitter, as that is what has been happening for the past months.

Much undervalued coin right now. Price is 45 SAT, for a 20M supply this is a joke. The point is, for those who still didn't get it, to have a radio channel for music AND news about coins, traders talk etc. The coin will be used for everything payment-related in this radio context. It's a real use case with an existing application that is being improved.

Can u elaborate what exactly is going on? My guess is nothing. I will tell u what is really happening here. Money is gradually exiting untested alts and heading to bitcoin. Since u live under the rock u may wonder what is the reason for this sudden migration of smart money to bitcoin campus, and the answer is - common sense.

The thing that alyssapink was talking about were his own ideas. Instead of adding new ideas (proof of existence etc.) I supported "church" in refining his original ideas. What exactly is going on is:

• I am working on integrating a radio player into the wallet. This takes time because I'm not a professional programmer and also have other things to do, but we're not in a hurry.
• Church is working to integrate conferencing functionality into the radio via Skype. This will be used for "talk shows" with coin developers, professional traders etc.
• Also, church is working out a payment model using 2FLAV so that communities will be able to create small audio "advertisements" that will be played in FlavorCoin Radio from time to time. This will be similarly effective to "signature campaigns" etc. when enough people listen to the radio.
• Meanwhile, church is integrating new music into the radio to make it better and gain more listeners. As he has since the beginning.
• He is also working on a web player that will be integrated into a new crypto forum that is currently being developed (as an alternative to bitcointalk)
• I also hope I'll be able to improve the ANN text with him a bit more.  ;)

Note that apparently, (from what I understood,) church doesn't like using forums that have history, he prefers chats  :-\ ... try if you can catch him on The Crypto Chat oder Bittrex Slack if you want to contact him directly. He's also on Yobit chat box from time to time. You can also see in his style of writing that he is writing here as if this would be a chat. :D Well people are different, right?



Also if you have any improvement ideas for the radio itself (which kind of music to be played etc.) I'm sure your ideas will be welcome. You can listen to the radio using the link on the first page.

I do live sesions most late evenings talking about crypto in general about which are the good projects and the not so good projects

checking markets on air, talk with the community about coins that have many millions trading at to high prices when clearly they should be lower,

I would like to take live skype calls on air where we can have other peoples views on coins that are trading, bring some information that can benefit traders.

Yes, the ticker change has been included by CryptoCoderz and pulled from upstream into my fork that has the integrated player: https://github.com/bitcoinx2/FlavorCoin-V2 If you are using Linux, you can just pull from my repository and it should work; if you are using Windows please try to compile it for Windows and submit your fixes to me. Also I think I didn't update the package dependency list, it's still on the TODO list so if anyone would like to add some missing dependencies just PM me or make a merge request.

Also @church, I noticed there are still some references to the 2FLAV ticker in the OP, you might want to fix that. Also, the specs use the "FLAV" ticker which is meant to be FLVR if I'm not mistaken.  ;)

So just for everyone's notice, I'm not visiting Slack anymore, because not much is going on there and church doesn't want to invite any new people, because he said he is "embarrassed" by the past discussions with me and alyssapink ... we tried to push him to make more use of the coin (FLVR) back then, along with other suggestions like acting more active and professional on this forum, which he didn't actually want... so at this point, as far as I have understood, FlavorCoin is essentially a radio station, and will continue to be worked on by Church even if the price of the coin goes down!

Still there is work being done, Mr. Church just doesn't like to write but rather talk, he's the radio master of FlavorCoin Radio, so if you want to get more news I suggest it's just best to listen to the radio at around 0:00-4:00 AM UTC. There are also interviews with other prominent coin developers and project leaders from time to time.

This has been long awaited by me personally, and I'm sure that it is an important milestone on the journey of this project...  ;)

Two days ago I chatting with church on TheCryptoChat. He is active and working on coin update.

PS. Yobit is it bad exchange service. A lot of wallets are ignored there as well as developers. Sometimes, despite the requests, they do not even update the source.

Well that would be all well and good if Flavorcoin was traded anywhere else with any significant volume. For all its flaws, Flavorcoin needs Yobit and the wallet needs to be sorted on there or this coin is definitely dead.
