Title: Another cloudmining service - Cointmint.io ????
Post by: sbtctalk on June 01, 2016, 11:49:58 AM
I was researching for key words that bitcoin services use for their Google adsense and I stumbled upon https://www.coinmint.io/ via an adsense ad ---

My first impressions:

- The site layout is very similar to Genesis-Mining. Likely that coinmint.io took inspirations from Genesis-Mining

- About us page shows its owners: https://www.coinmint.io/about-us/ and it is owned by a German (GM owners are Germans too)

- Pricing: https://www.coinmint.io/cp/cart.php 200 GH/S at 34 USD; 3 TH/S at 480 USD; 20,000 TH/S at 3,000 USD; A maintenance fee of USD$0.00028 per GH/sec, per day

Anyone heard of them? Strange they still believe cloud mining is profitable and the way they are so similar to Genesis-Mining. Please be mindful.

I heard about it first time from you here.. I have very bad experience about cloudmining. got scammed so many times and never ever invest again.
I feel this coinmint.io is another ponzi scam cloudming site just launched to steal peoples money. but they are promoting the site via google adverts. which is really strange for me.

So many new cloudmining sites popping up recently, but all of them are just the same as the older cloudmining servise which will scam their members.
Is there any free kh/s on registration like other sites?

just see their datacenter page and found a video from bitfury which don't prove that they're owning a rig to run a real cloud mining service, another new ponzi i guess, and about google adwords, even a scam site can advertise there just like blockchain phishing site few weeks ago which appear on google adwords

As long bitcoin price is going up , you will see new cloud mining and new HYIP , because Bitcoin price encourage people to open more projects , but regrettably most of them are ponzi scheme , they create projects to steal money from people , and no one think to make stable income or long term project . All need money fastest way

I have never of it at all Judging by the expiry date of it's domain (which is usually in a one year package), it was only just recently set up.
And I'm pretty sure it's just another cloud mining site that might turn into ponzi some day so better be aware of that. It may be good to invest in it while it's still fresh but in the long run, I'm not so sure.

I have also seen them quite few times in some bitcoin adnetworks as ads but never mind to click on those ads. I will not trust any of the new cloud mining sites even i don't have good faith and experience with old cloud mining networks. Cloud mining sites are evolving like mushroom this days.

Good point. If they are confident they won't register for just one year.

As long as there are noobs who doesn't read or don't do their due diligence this websites will keep popping up as fungus after the rain. We should all stay away, even more now that halving is approaching and is a perfect opportunity for these scammers, once the bitcoin price go up , they disappear with your money, be very very careful from these websites. Cloud mining is from long unprofitable so anyone who claim otherwise is a liar and scammer (these websites).

Less information about the company, there are have a photos, but I'm not sure they have trusted. Maybe take a photos from Google(?).

Another ponzi scheme I think.

they're inserting a random video about mining farm on youtube and the uploader don't even have any relation to the site,a filthy trick to make sure a newbie bitcoiners to get involved into this filthy business i guess, however still potentially bust someone in the future
