You guys will notice that you're not much different than the politicians you so much despise. You're just recreating the same old shit, AT BEST!

The DAO is just a game about who can manage to cash out the funds to their advantage with 50+1 (or otherwise). DAO will not make a profit or anything. It'll just be a game about who gets to drain the DAO and spend the money on THEIR outside project.

Decentalization is a noble goal but like everything there are pros and cons.  Dangerous ideas take root faster for example.

i always thought it'd be cool if you could select where your tax dollars go.  cuz the people voting for high levels of theft and entitlements aren't paying any taxes, or less than average, on average.

The problem is not centralization, the problem is corruption. Explain how you would fight corruption in a decentralized government model or DAO for that matter. DAO shares were bought using Ethereum, which was bought with BTC, which was bought with fiat, which banks created out of thin air without any transparancy for the public. Same goes for holders of DAO tokens, 51% could already be in the hand of corrupt Wall Street.

Didn't Amir Taaki mention he was developing something like a DAO but for the government?  Then he was nowhere to be found after that... It's been a coupleof years now.
