Lol the way things are going, selling at 78 may seem like a bad idea in a few weeks.

Then again you could wake up tomorrow and it's 20$

The rate of increase just shifted as of the 5th.  The market is heading into its next phase.  It has already gone through accumulation, early shack-out, ramp up.  Now it's heading into early distribution.

Expect to see wild swings in the next few weeks. And an eventual sell-off... then BC will establish a new base, and the cycle will repeat.  But the charts are indicating there is still plenty of power in the distribution phase.  I'm holding and watching closely.

Having said that if BC is still here in 5 years, $50, $60, $100, hell even $200 will be cheap.

What game are you playing?  Speculation?  Long-term investment?  Day-trading?

If you're holding out for the 5 year window or more it would be stupid to sell right now at any price with the momentum BC has currently, and is only building.

But human nature as it is, we'll see several bubbles along the way, with irrational spikes and crashes as we might only see in the oil futures.  Nothing will change that.

Don't let the bubbles scare you out of the long-term macro trend here.

I absolutely love how 99% of bear threads here are parodies.
"BEARODIES" if you will.

The few people who make the 1% of bear threads that are serious - well, they must be pretty stupid have some balls I can't decide, maybe both?

You guys are all trolling saying that this is a crash correct? I need at least a daily red candle to call a crash. You can't trade the 15m graph, a bit of sanity!

That being said, this is a hell of a bubble, I have no idea of when it will stop. I guess triple digits.

When bitcoin hit $47 I moved my bitcoins to MtGox to dump them all.  The transfer took so long and MtGox is so extremely slow that by the time the bitcoins made it the price was $42.  Now I have an order to sell and the price is below $40, with my order still pending.

Does this actually delay the price quotes or is it just related to time a trade takes to settle to a traders account? If prices are off by that time lag then it would be impossible to do any trading.

Indeed.. Im really impressed so many user still trade on Gox !  They make 10k$+ a day, and are not able to get a better setup to cope with heavy traffic !!!  I've moved on alternatives trading service a while ago, and do not regret at all.. Dont miss those lag and those unavaillability..

Remember, in a day like the 170k+ volume, they make more than 60 000 $ profit, for 24 hour !  And are still on cheap hardware / connection !  What a lame !

AFAIK they still dont have stop-lost order !  I'm mystified !!!

Just move your trading on some alternative trading service, some are much better !   Just try, you may never come back to Gox !

Very true, with the amount of money they earn they should be able to provide a server without any lag. The yubikey they sent me a few months ago(free of charge) however was a nice initiative and very much appreciated. What's keeping me from gox is the long time it takes to get my money out aswell as the lag & cost of transactions. There's better & cheaper exchanges around.
