Title: Crypto currency educational videos, seeking ideas!
Post by: TheMage on June 04, 2016, 12:14:12 AM
Hello everyone,

The Litecoin Association has made a series of educational videos for crypto currencies, and we are soliciting ideas on what we can do in future videos. While these are created and produced by the LA, Bitcoin is also mentioned quite a bit because we are promoting crypto-currency concepts in general as much as possible (hence why I'm posting in the general section here). Videos so far include mining, importing/exporting private keys, using bootstrap.dat, and more.

We would love to hear more idea from the community at large in order to help us help crypto education! So please let us know what concepts you would like us to cover!

Note to the mods, I would like to emphasize that these videos are for general educational purposes and not for Litecoin promotion (except the one that asks "what is Litecoin" haha).

Here is a link to our channel https://www.youtube.com/user/LitecoinAssociation

Thank you everyone and looking forward to your ideas!

I thought bootstrap.dat  is not longer needed as Bitcoin Core 0.10.0 was released and headers-first synchronization was implemented.
I watched your video about it and despite you named it bootstrap.dat (Litecoin/Bitcoin) there is no mention about Bitcoin's bootstrap.dat at all.

I will watch all your videos first and the I give you more of my thoughts regarding your channel.

Thanks, suggestions of all types (including being crypto agnostic) are welcome. Like I said the idea is to help educate, not to promote :).
