Title: Should Bitcoin implement smart contracts?
Post by: subwoofer12 on June 04, 2016, 06:02:05 AM
Should Bitcoin become more like Ethereum? Do we need more features?, Smart Contracts, Solidity, Ethereum Virtual Machine etc. etc.

I have to say the Mist client (https://github.com/slockit/DAO/wiki/How-to-turn-the-Ethereum-Wallet-into-a-Mist-Browser-to-use-the-Voting-Interface) is feature-packed and extremely impressive

Up until now, I had always been under the impression that all altcoins will fail in the long-term and only Bitcoin will prevail, but Ethereum seems like it's here to stay, ETH's market cap is over 1 billion dollars and on several occasions 24-hour volume has actually surpassed Bitcoin's
I honestly feel this may be the only way to stop Ether, don't get me wrong though, I love altcoins for a quick pump & dump ;)

No we should delete all references to Ponzi scams and put Eth on the scrap heap
