I have posted my bets in the particular league threads in the gambling section over the last season. I decided to start my own thread now where I am gonna post all my bets. I'll start to post my bets for the upcoming European Championship tournament.

I usually stake between 3-5 mBTC per bet. My focus is on football (soccer), but from time to time I bet on other sports, too.

Here is my first bet of this thread and of the Euro 2016. The opening match between France and Romania.

France v Romania # France Wins @ 1.37
France is not only my favorite for this match it is also my favorite for tournament champion. I could only review the performance of the qualifications and from this point and combined with the home advantage, I think France will win the match.

Bet won! France 2 v Romania 1

On the one hand, I was really negativly surprised how France performed. On the other hand, Romania surprised me positive. To be honest, the fair result would have been a draw. It is always hard to bet on the first matches if you do not know how strong the teams really are after the weeks of preparation.

My bets for today. Bets on 2 of 3 matches. Wales v Slovakia is hard to predict in my eyes. The sportsbooks favorite Wales but I favorite Slovakia.

Switzerland v Albania # over 0.5 goals in the first half @ 1.92
Switzerland made 2.94 goals per match on average in the qualifications whereas Albania made only 0.9 on average.
For that reason, the odds are very good for a goal in the first half.

England v Russia # England win @ 1.88
England played the best qualifications of all teams in the tournament. The team is young and hungry. The team has not really superstars as the tournament before what is an advantage imho. Russia had many problems in the qualifications and the team is actually not strong enough to make it in the tournament.

Won the first bet. Switzerland made one goal in the first half.

The second bet got lost. Russia made the equalizer in the extra time. Annoying but that's betting :)

I decided to set a bet on Belgium v Italy.

Belgium v Italy # under 0.5 goals between minute 30:01 and half time @ 1.40
I usually do not set bets for in what timeframes goals will shot or not. I do it because of two reasons. First, the odds are good imho. Second, Italy and Belgium have both strong defenses and got less than one goal per match each. I think we will not see many goals and this increases the chance to win the bet.

Those are amazing odds for just 15 minutes of the game. Which site did you make that bet on ?
Does it also allow to bet on other times say 10-25 minutes ? I feel goals are more scored close to half time, so it can be a bit risky but odds are really good on it. Yeah it was unfortunate that they lost, hopefully you are able to do better next time. Good luck for future tips.

Well, I lost the bet. Italy won 2 - 0. Unfortunately, Italy made the first goal in minute 31. So, one minute earlier and I would have won the bet. This was unlucky but you may rest assured that such could happen by betting. The second Italian goal was in the second half.

I updated the statistics in the first post and I will set a bet for the next game in a couple of minutes.

Odds are not good. I actually do not set bets withs odds under 1.4 but that is an exception because France (together with Germany) is my tournament favorite. France won the opening match. I think it will be an easy one against Albania.

France won 2-0 over Albania. The match was much more exciting as expected. France played a terrible first half. In the second half France played much better but Albania defended very good what resulted in two late goals. Griezmann and Payet scored for France in minute 90 and 92.

France was the favorite and a lot of people played for them. Griezmann's late goal saved you but I like that odd. Directbet gave only 1.21 to France win, Betcoin odd is 1.26. I should think about changing my sportsbook.

This does not necessarily mean that your bet provider does have worser odds. It depends on the time of the bet. Odds vary steadily.
When I took a first look at the odds of the match (around one hour before I set the bet) the odds for a win of France was 1.21. Then it raised to 1.26. This could mean that more people bet on a draw or a win of Albania.

16th June was not a good day. Lost two of three bets.

I know that the draw on Ukraine v Northern Ireland was a little bit risky that is I why I only bet 1 mBTC on the match. Northern Ireland won 0 - 2.

My bet on England v Wales was right. The match ended 2 -1.

Germany disappointed me in the match against Ukraine. I know that a draw is possible that a match without goals is a bad result. The match ended 0 - 0.

I was not actively betting for a few days, therefore I can only now evaluate the match results.
Unfortunately I lost both bets. This Euro is delivering very less goals and very strange results by now. It is actually not possible to apply known patterns on the teams and matches. I hope this will change in the all-or-nothing matches, but the yesterdays match day did not bring much hope :)  Three matches with only three goals in regular time. But, the hope dies last :)

I considered to bet also on Belgium vs Hungary but I am not really sure how will make it. On the paper, Belgium is the clear favorite but Hungary has shown a great performance against Portugal and they act as team what makes them really challenging to play. Therefore I decided to not bet on this match.
