My guess is that the price will not go higher than $700 when the price is shooting up. I think $650 as highest price just before the halving is a good target for this year.

The price can't "explode" as you stated but i think that the price will not change immediately. Before the halving i think that more people will put more money to invest in bitcoin which increases the price then will wait until the price gets higher to sell them which will be probably few months after the halving. You will never now what is goinf to happen with the price after the halving it go go so many ways tho. It can go up down or there is even a chance that the price will be stable again.
