Post by: crazy_rabbit on March 06, 2013, 10:26:30 PM I think it's not unreasonable to consider the possibility that a lack of information about the current status of the market due to overloading of websites could induce a crash. Users, unable to be sure of what the current market status is, yet positive that some sort of great movement is in motion (due to not being able to access the trade websites) might be inclined to think the worst or assume the worst and sell. This might be what we are seeing right now.

Because of this people might be more inclined to click "market order" on who-knows-how-many-btc just out of panic. The more people click that, the faster things could get out of control.
