Don't fully understand it. So I buy bitcoins... at somewhere like bitstamp or mtgox... then where do the bitcoins go? I downloaded the bitcoin client from bitcoin.org. Do i have to withdraw bc from sites like mtgox into my wallet? Whats the cheapest place to buy BC with USD ( preferably paypal or CC )

So if you buy some coin at mtgox, you can the transfer out to a blockchain.info wallet, or local client or whatever. Moving bitcoin funds around is easy, usually free and quick.
You'll have trouble buying with paypal/credit card as they're reversible and bitcoin aren't. Title: Re: Bitcoin newbie here..
