Yes you can only mine SCRYPT coins with it. If you mine litecoin you will prob make a small monthly profit. I prefer to gamble on new coins and hope they pay better when listed on exchange. I have done pretty well with a few coins and prob made much more money than i would have if i just mined LTC.

I believe they are bringing out an A4 which runs much faster than the A2 for around the same electricity cost. Not 100% sure off the top of my head. Might be worth getting one of those.

Any Scrypt coin - Litecoin, Doge, and there were a few others but they're all VERY small time now and even Doge is a "merged mining only" coin the last few months.

Pretty much all about Litecoin + merge coins now.

you can use  http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency to calculate the "best" coin to mine.
Just fill in the script-form with the A2's specs and your electricity price.

Do keep in mind that it might actually be better to instamine some new coins, and keep them in case they become a big hit. I don't think coinwarz will guide you towards instamine coins tough (never tried)

That's a gamble - but if you get lucky ONCE it could have a huge upside.
