Hi. You could be a little more specific on what kind of wallet you want.
PC, mobile, windows, Linux, iOS or Android? There is plenty to choose.
Me for example, can suggest to try mulibit classic or HD for windows, Electrum for Linux and
Airbits for android. Have no knowledge about iOS stuff. Basically, try to avoid online wallets.

It might actually be a good idear to tell us which wallet you're currently using, and why you're unconfortable with it...
Also, like poptok1 already said: it would be a good idear to give an idear about your OS, your technical knowledge and your expectations (you want a safe wallet, fast wallet, easy wallet, certain features,...)

Perhaps you should tell us what wallet you're using and why you don't feel comfortable with it so we that we have something to work on (*Ah. Merelcoin beat me to it.). Without more info I'll just have to go on a limb and recommend electrum because in my opinion it's the most newbie friendly client that doesn't need the user to download the blockchain.

Which wallet you are using? I am using blockchain.info from start without problem. And if you are recieving a quite big amount than better use electrum wallet software. But paper wallet and hardware give more security than this all web based wallets.

For Android I prefer Circle and Mycelium. I like a clean interface without all the ugly technical details. Why is there no clean user friendly wallet yet?

Coinbase is a pretty cool wallet and their mobile app is straight forward, this of course is good for day to day usage but if you are looking for long term storage you will find other suggestions which have already been said.

Blockchain.info wallet is one of the safest online wallets out there. Although, if you are looking at long term storage, do not keep your coins online. That's not a good idea.

Never keep your coins in an online wallet. Desktop wallet can be good for everyday usage and also for long term storage. For extreme security I can recommend Trezor hardware wallet but it costs a lot and buy it only if you have a really high amount of coins you want to keep there.

Well for me, I am storing my BTC in Coins.ph, they offer 0% fee from the transactions. Plus , they hve many branches and partners wherein you can cash in and pay out using those partners. I found it convenient and the price of bitcoin is also changing based on the fluctuation of its price in te market. I never used desktop wallet. But I will try to figure out soon.

Basically any wallet is good to receive payments as that's what bitcoin wallets are for. If you are looking for a day to day, secure and easy to use wallet to do all of your transactions I recommend you start using Electrum. You can get it from here : www.electrum.org and make sure your PC is safe and clean from viruses, spyware and keyloggers before installing it.

I think one of the biggest components that go into a user's decision is whether or not they need MOBILITY.  Old school users all the way back to paper wallets and/or two computer (cold storage) desktop applications have different needs than an Android "on the prowl" user.  Of course receiving bitcoins is not really the question because you don't have to even be logged in or present to have coins flow into your addresses.  The outgoing side is what I am attending to in my thoughts on this post.  OP, do you need to use coins while being mobile?
