Title: Dorrittulx - Allegedly hacked senior member used for massive ref spam.
Post by: Lutpin on June 07, 2016, 04:33:31 PM
Usually, I just report ref spam topics and don't give them too much attention.

This one is a little different though, the user Dorrittulx (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=459735) currently is creating a ref spam topic in each and every section of the forum (a total of 28 update: 71 not yet deleted topics at the time of posting this thread), and since they are using a senior member account, they are abled to post those topics way faster that they can get deleted by mods.
Hence, I think there's a ban due at this point, but have a look yourself:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=459735;sa=showPosts (archived version: http://archive.is/qKynx; http://archive.is/TvROY).

(This thread also serves as a reference for me when reporting those posts.)

He's also posting the same message in threads now, not just creating a new topic.

I'm not your "m8", certainly never was. Hacked or not, you deserve a ban.
Also, consider changing your signature. The "I don't post spam on the forum" part is way off.

The site you are promoting is almost certainly malicious and I would not be surprised if it attempts to get people to download Bitcoin stealing malware.

He is still spamming even though he has seen this thread. :O

I concur.

Edit:
I saw that his posts are being deleted by mod(s), yet he keeps posting. lol.

This isn't something new though. We've seen examples of similar spam (with different websites) in the past. The people that are able to ban this guy permanently are currently not here, so a bit of patience is required.

Your ego is certainly a fail with this one.
Enjoy your ban.

Genius, try to recover your losses by encourage people to invest at very suspicious cloud mining.
I might say that you try to solve your problem with another problem.

I may be wrong, but I doubt that you're talking with the "real" owner of the Dorrittulx account. Looks hacked and his way of talking sounds a lot different. (Although I don't think it'll matter if/when he's banned.)

Also, am I the only one who found his personal text to be ironic (if he was hacked)?: "A Bulletproof User."

It is very likely that Dorrittulx was hacked.
Dorrittulx knows the rules as to spam and reference links.
Dorrittulx would not risk their account for something like this.

I was irritated when I realized this guy is posting everywhere. He is creating new topics in different sections and also going to individual threads and posting there his ref link. Who on this earth will fall for such stupidity?, He is certainly using a hacked or 'bought account' to post his useless ref links. Someone needs to ban him completely.

Don't count out some of the greedy people on this forum.

Point proven.

As for the spamming, the same has happened before with the user Chozin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=405566) (Archive) (https://archive.is/kkFBp), and it will probably happen again in the future. I just don't understand why people can't take good care of their accounts and security. It isn't a hard thing to do at all.

Thank you for taking care of this forum, Cyrus. It must be a job that requires strong nerves and you guys definitely have them.

And with this yobit sponsored comment, we'll be closing this discussion.

Thanks for cleaning up, Cyrus.
As the account in question won't make trouble again and I also most certainly won't have to report any post/thread by them (with this thread as reference) anymore, it has served it's purpose.
