Title: Does OS affect hashrate? Post by: hickc on March 08, 2013, 08:34:02 AM I am mining on a hd 5970, 11.10 and sdk 2.1 and am using win xp, and am thinking about upgrading to win 7. My machine is a dedicated miner, so the only reason I would make this upgrade is if win 7 gets me better hashes somehow. So is there some advantage of mining on win 7 over win xp?
