Hi guys, I just joined so this is my first post on the forum.

Anyways, does anyone know of a method to buy bitcoin online without ID verification/SSN? Using my credit/debit card is not an issue, however as I am under 18 I don't believe I have anything to show them and just in general, I'd rather not have to verify myself with an ID. I am also new to bitcoin overall, so I may not be aware of all the services I could use.

try using the services of a third party to purchase bitcoin. but if you're underage I suggest using your parent's ID to get the maximum features. so in case of unwanted things, then you have the right to menyelassikan the problem. I guarantee that if you follow the rules then everything can run smoothly.

Unfortunately, I only have a driver's permit right now, planning to get my license soon though. Do you know of any services that definitely allow people under 18? If so, I'm willing to give them a photo of my permit (I assume this counts as an ID?). The problem with lying about my age on services that do not allow people under 18 is that they'll see my DoB on my permit and I assume they would close my account.

Who's credit card is it?  There's all sorts of questions I have that are none of my business, but buying byc with a credit card isn't that simple.  Debit card, yes, credit card no.  You sure you want to pay the interest on a purchase like this anyway?  It's pretty much like buying stocks on margin.

How you could have a credit card if you are under 18?  ::)

Sorry, I didn't clarify.. I have a debit card. I just assumed it would be the same for both credit and debit card, but apparently not  :P

I'm in the US, never heard of IMPS payments, and I am the card holder. My driver's permit would verify my identity.

You got a few options, but just expect a higher premium rate on what you ask for.

If not, then the best route is always a cash deposit which still doesnt need ID verification - so its up to you.

There are many exchangers you can find where you don't need ID verification but the problem is when you buy using your credit/debit card then might need ID verification because credit/debit card payment are reversible so no exchangers want to fall in future. You can check forum currency exchange section hope you will find someone who accept credit/debit card payment or cash in person in your location.

Well this is the best option to buy bitcoin anonymously. You could easily find traders who doesn't ask for personal verification.

I bought my Bitcoin thru my trusted friend who has a lot of bitcoin it's much more easier than anything,but if you are going to purchase big amount you have nowhere to go but coinbase

These days I feel suspicious when users don't want to verify their ID with reputed sites. They aren't going to sell your information and it's for your security as well as theirs. You could choose to buy from the currency exchange section or localbitcoins but since BTC is irreversible, it's tough to find buyers and nobody trusts newbies as mostly they try to scam via PayPal/PZ.

It must be his family's credit card. You can still own a credit card (may be not on your name) if you have a minor bank account.

@OP: You can anytime choose to buy coins from LBC but be careful as there have been too many scams that have been reported. Also, since you're buying BTC, a F2F transaction would be better.

If using your credit card or debit card is not an issue then on some exchanges you can find deposit or buy bitcoin through debit/credit card, search about those excahnges and you will get any better exchange where you can buy bitcoin by using your debit/credit card. if any person in your family have Okpay then with that you can buy bitcoin on some exchanges.

If not possible then take help from any elder of your family.

Buying coins from people whom you don't know would be even worse than buying from exchange websites that are trusted.
There are chances you might get scammed if you choose to trust with users from LBC or here so it's much recommended that you get your ID verified with trusted sites.

Yeah your right man buying bitcoin to people you do not know is very risky, just verify your id and you would open to buy in trusted site which is low risk you can assure that your order will be delievered in your wallet.

The problem is, I'm under 18 so if I uploaded my "ID" they would see that I wasn't an adult. Unless you know of a site that would accept minors. Any recommendations?

Tried adding my bank account rather than my debit card to my Coinbase account, and no verification was needed. Bought my BTC, and it's going to arrive in 3-6 days. Awesome.

You can always buy or sell bitcoins to individual members (make sure you are dealing with reputed members), you can use paypal account (I’m not sure they require 18+ age or not) and link your debit/credit card with paypal and send funds. However since paypal transactions are reversible I don’t think many traders would accept it in trading.

The best way is to get a verified account and you can take help of your parents / elders who are eligible to trade.

You can buy bitcoins on the internet and you dont need to verificate your id and that is only because they dont have to know who you are because bitcoins are not traceable so you dont need it for sure!

Are you sure about that or you're just miss understanding about the OP's question?What the method was not sued me for not verification my id before?CC,Paypal,DB?all of that is just needing for verification your id before.

you can buy with your friend which have bitcoin for the easy way. or if you have saving account, then you can buy transfer to person which around you and thell that person if you need bitcoin. its just simple and maybe many people which is new in bitcoin don't know how to buy bitcoin.

Find a sites that you can buy via debit card or buy in any people near to you then meet up be sure the place you will meet is safe, or try to buy here just use escrow for what kind of payment you want.

I will suggest you use your credit. card to open a PayPal account and fund it and use the PayPal to buy bitcoin from virwox ,coinmams not you have to verify your phone number and you will purchase bitcoin without showing your identity because you are under age

bitcoin are actually traceable and just found one topic in this forum which discussing about an exchanger that asking the source of the bitcoin which their client have been sent to the exchanger's wallet,and if you are going to buy bitcoin with paypal or credit card,knowing who you are is a "must" for the exchanger to avoid fraudster

Buying bitcoin is very easy as well possible with all sorts of cards, transfer methods and payment processors. When planning to buy, if you don't need to reveal your identity then there are legit exchange and trading websites which won't need identity to be proved. Else connect to trusted trader through our forum and make the purchase and pay through any of the accepted ways.

Just buy for legit person on your neighborhood or if you don't have that person well just seek thos reputable person so you will not get hassle upon buying some bitcoins but make sure that you use some escrow service here so you wouldn't be scammed by those scammers who pretend to be a seller, just take extra precaution and better to be safe than sorry.

Try downloading coinbase wallet. I think they are offering to sell btc without ID verification. The only issue without id verification is limit amount to be transact every day. Besides that, there is no issue on that matter, just make sure coinbase support the bank account that you're owned.

That is applicable here in forum there are a lot of trusted people who are selling bitcoin for paypal and vice versa. And yes, escrow is necessary so that each of you are going to be safe. But still it is going to be better to buy bitcoins from an exchange website, have you tried to use virwox? They are not getting any of my information as I buy and sell bitcoins with them.
