I have lost my ethereum presale wallet as the drive was erased by mistake and I don't have a private key, but can I retrieve the wallet by email that I used and the password?? If the space on the drive wasn't overwritten it's very easy to restore. There is heaps of tools out there, even freeware. Decentralized currencies don't have a central authority issuing the block reward, so you've therefore lost no decentralized currency coins.

I replaced it and probably put it in the recycle bin.
