Title: So what's your game plan for this year's halving?
Post by: fearlesscat10 on June 13, 2016, 06:41:24 AM
I'm interested to see what everyone plans to do. Are you guys buying right now to prepare for the halving? Are you going to sell? At what price do you plan on selling?

I've been a holder myself and have not sold any coins since I started in 2014. Day trading isn't really my thing. But I'm thinking about how I should go about with the halving.

Any advice?  :) I'd love to hear what you guys are planning.

i do not have any plan for the halving this year I am just going to wait for the price after the halving that is going to decide what I am going to do after the halving. I am in the waiting fase right now.

I already have a plan when the price was around $450, buy as much as possible when the people have been talking about halving. and now time to watch prices rise higher and sell after halving.

I do not have any game plan for next year the only thing that I am doing is buying when the price is low and affordable and sell when the price high and I can make a profit.
That is the only thing game plan I have on my mind.

Ride out short term price movements, the price has nowhere to go but up. Look - the fear is natural, and it was the same way last 1/2ing.

I do not have any game plan for this years halving because I do not even know what the price is going to be after the halving so it would not make much sense to me to come up with a plan.
If I see what the price is after the halving then I can come up with is something.

Sit around and watch what happens. Right now my attention is more drawn to strife elsewhere. We're living in sexy times.

I'm far more interested in a long term verdict a few months down the line about the halving. That's when we'll know whether it's making a difference.

My plan is to short shortly after halving - when people don't see the price increases they expected.

i dont have a plan too, though as far as im aware there should be a huge price increase coming up because of the incoming block reward halving event

i think because of that i am going to buy some bitcoins at the moment in order to gain some profit during the halving or after it because im pretty sure there will be a good opportunity to gain

My game plan is nothing special becasue the halving only affects the small miners and i already stopped mining before the
halving. So when the price of the bitcoin is rising allot i will sell all of my coins who i mined and never touch bitcoins ever again because its not profitable anymore when we reach the limit.

I sold at $750 and bought back at $590. Now I'm waiting for the next halving bubble so I can do it again.

I do not have any plans for this year I always to the same thing when it comes to Bitcoin, I buy when the price is low and I sell when the price is high.
I do not hold for to long because I do not have the patient.

I sold half my holdings at $750 because it went up so fast. The rest are tucked away and I'm just waiting to see what happens.

My plan went according to my desire to sell before halving and buy it back to sell at high prices after halving if it was as I expected.

My game plan hasnt changed any since i begun with bitcoin. I would like to buy some at current price but cant at the moment afford to, If price dropped down any i would find some cash though. Meantime and after halving i just plan to hold regardless of price. the way i see it is im a few years away before i could consider selling anything and hopefully by then i wont need to anyway.

Different portions for different thinks.

But the main cold wallet will always not be touched regardless - as for the hotwallet balance.

I sell off when I see a good # of profit to buy back in at a later time if it dips.

My plan is to short shortly after halving - when people don't see the price increases they expected.

I'm hoping only stupid people with very small amounts of bitcoin think the price is instantly going to increase the day of the halving.

I think it's already priced in tbh and won't really move either way so I'm holding. Speculators will always find a reason the think bitcoin is going to increase in the near future, be it lightening or whatever.

well right and honestly i think the price of bitcoin will not increase fast after block halving it takes a long weeks or months before halving effect will become effected..

Well 11 ddays before halving the MACD 3day chart says its a downtrend. But who knows? I'll not sell for the moment. All in bitcoin. I will wait for at least the second wave after the last peak of 790$. And then I'll see how much it'll push up the price.

I was not able to sell all my bitcoins at the recent pumped price of 800$ so just holding them to sell at any price range above 800$ if it touch that range in this halving.

currently i just buying small amount of bitcoin however i have any plan to hold 50% of my bitcoin for next halving but i would still trade the rest of my bitcoin but i don't have target prices to do so because i would sell 50% of my bitcoin if the prices looks good

I have a plan of buying when the price of bitcoin go down more likely to $400 or lower (if that will still happen). No plans of selling yet, I'd rather hold and save it than selling it because I believe that it will have a greater value in the future :) I'm still trading some of my coins, not too often but when I think it's quite a good time to trade.

I don't have any special plans. I just use the volatility in my advantage to do some trading, and will unload some coins if the price goes up much higher than current levels.

My game plan for this year is not quiet simple because you have to decide what you want to do also when the price of the bitcoin drops allot.
So dont make your game let the bitcoin make your game you have to look at the price of the bitcoin to decide what you want to do.

i save my coins from start of 2015 when i heard about halving, from then i don't spend any coin and i only buy more when their price is small, just to have more bitcoins

i also trade currencies so next week i will sell all them for bitcoins, to have even more, i should get additional 1 bitcoin so i can say that i am ready for bitcoin halving

I was just trying to collect bitcoin I get, so when halving happen and make bitcoin prices to be high, I can sell my bitcoin and get more profits, I think it is a plan that is easy and good
