I was looking for some Singapore based VPS provider at LowEndBox the other day. SafeHouseCloud (https://safehousecloud.com/) caught my attention and after looking at the plans I decided to give it a try for a month.

Too bad! They do not accept Bitcoin! So I used their contact form to request for Bitcoin integration. To my surprise* they accepted my request and is now accepting Bitcoin via BitPay. I just purchased a VPS from them using Bitcoin and will be posting a review soon.

Since they are so kind and accept Bitcoin, why don't you guys support them? Be it running vanitygen 24/7 or helping the Bitcoin network.

Good job, the more bitcoin is adopted the more it gets value. People who will try it will never look back to other payment ways as they have high fees, merchants will love it as the transactions are irreversible not like with Paypal where a customer can lie and say he didn't receive the goods and get a refund.

That is pretty nice indeed that they are accepting it, I hope more will follow.
I honestly know there are already a couple that are accepting the bitcoin for all kind of hosting solutions.

It is good to see bitcoin accepted vps however price seem really high compared to other vps accepting paypal only. I am using 1 gb ram vps for 2$ per month however this seem to cost 9$ per month for same specification i am using.

Its getting more and more accepted these days and this is good because so there will be hosting providers for the lower class and the middle class, with all kind of services.

If you look around lowendbox, most of the cheaper ones actually accepts Bitcoin since it has lesser fees tied with it.

The primary reason for this steeper price is most likely because the prices for VPS in Singapore is more expensive since there isn't lots of providers around here and it is a fairly good place for a VPS.

Yeah! It is always good to see new business accepting Bitcoin and I'm glad that my request is made. Anyway, do support them by buying something from them. :).


Like what ranochigo said. The pricing is high because it is located in places that is 'good' - sorry don't know how to describe. Anyway, they are one of the cheapest VPS hosting company that have servers in Singapore and accept Bitcoin.

I have hosted a Manic Digger server with them before using the 1.49 Euro plan and everything is smooth. Convert it to USD, it is less than 2 USD and have 1GB Ram. They accept Bitcoin.

After taking a quick look at their site,  I can't seem to find where they're based, and where their servers are located. I'm thinking of buying one to host a Mumble server and a TF2 server, want to see how much ping I get.

Nice! I'm also using a hosting provider for my dedicated server but they are still nog accepting the bitcoin for payments, maybe I'm gonna ask them if they want to accept it.

I made the same experiences on other business. With the wide media coverage of the rise of Bitcoin, there is an increasing acceptance to try it. If you ask for paying with Bitcoin the liklihood is good to have success.
