Why people keep buying DOGE?

A useless one, no tech !!!

i really have no idea why,
i can understand during hype of a couple years ago, it was something hot even without features.
but nowadays has no rational reason to keep such a huge volume around the globe and lots of people still mine and trade it

Most of them believes Doge will make them rich someday, but truth to be told it won't.

People buy it because it has a real userbase unlike most other coins.

What features does your fiatmoney have? You think some more buttons, new graphics, some bling, an in-wallet-chat and some broken new features is what gives a coin value?
Sorry to pop your bubble but security, userbase and scarcity is what gives a coin value - not features.

Doge will be around for some more time, don't you worry.

People who see what the real traffic from real users is on those chains are buying DOGE with a big smile and a "thank you" from you retards.

Doge will be valued higher than ETH in the future once the dust settles.

well,.. i only use doges for gambling, then exchange the profits to btc or eth, im sure other people do the same ;D

Not really sure, you can make a tiny profit with the small amount it goes up and down but the coin itself apart from the crazy hype a couple of years ago doesn't seem to be any different from any other standard coin out there.
DOGE will be here for a long time we can say that much based on it so far.

Because its good coin to start with:
1. Low transaction fee
2. Fast transaction
3. You can earn it faster than satoshi in some faucets
4. Good coin to learn how to trade because price is stable in compare with other coins
5. Its cheap

i use doge or dgb to transfer funds between exchanges, is usually much much faster than bitcoin network and lower fees

It's called trading.  The same reason why one would buy and sell stocks and commodities...  To profit.  Cryptocurrencies is a good place to start learning on how to trade because you don't need that big a bankroll to start out.  Unlike stocks there's a 'pattern day trading' rule that disallows people to make more than 4 trades in 5 days.  That person must have at least $25,000 in his account to trade without that limit.

And it's easy to move your funds from exchange to exchange without going thru banks.

Edit:  So make the best of it while crypto isn't regulated yet.  Once it is, I believe these regulations aka barriers of entry into trading them will be put in place making crypto a playground of Wallstreet.  And you think there are scams now?  Wait until they get in, they'll put the word 'scam' on a whole new level.  Think pinksheets and penny stocks...  Ugh.

because it's an historic coin, fast and easy to store and sell. In the past they got a lot of notoriety with Nascar promo car and other initiatives.
All exchange will accept it, you spend only 1 doge (45 satoshi!) for each tx, so this could explain the faith in the coin.

Doge has all a coin needs to have.

I use it to move money from exchange to exchange. Buy at say 45 sats, send with a 2 doge fee, sell at the other end for 46 sats. Very quick, no delays, no transaction backlogs. It works like a currency, unlike bitcoin.

Because doge is low fee and fast transaction compared with bitcoin

What!? Doge has more tech than Bitcoin. Doge is not a dumb clone like LTC, it actually has technical and economic enhancements.

Exactly.   Doge actually has a pretty strong community going for it, and confirmation times are very quick.  As long as people agree something has value, it does.  So long live doge!!

Because it was a scamcoin that was fixed with infinity emission.  Seems that is what crypto community cherish.
