The price of Lisk has been going down hard.

I still have a bunch of them and I'm starting to thinkl that it was a bad investment. Do you guys think that we might see a good rise on its price soon=?

I had around 400 lisk and sold them, and I'm glad I did.  Right now bitcoin is where it's at,  and that's a fact that's hard to argue.   The market has spoken.  Not to say lisk won't recover, but I'd put my money in btc if I were you.

Lisk is just fine. It's going to go through a huge refactoring and detailed redesign throughout the summer. Cryptocurrencies aren't magical wealth machines that instantly replicate dollars. They need time to grow and mature into something of sustained and tangible value. Be patient and hold the fiduciaries accountable to a roadmap and milestones.

If Lisk's smart contract platform is turing complete like Ethereum, then basically an attack like the DAO hack is possible with Lisk too. That may be the real reason of today's price drop.

The basic problem is that smart contracts in a turing complete language can be so complex that even experienced coders cannot keep off all possible security vulnerabilities. There is no bug-free software, that's a sad but true fact.

And the general public and small to medium businesses are even less enabled to understand a complex smart contract. You should only sign contracts that you understand - that's a golden rule. In Ethereum-like smart contract platforms this rule is impossible to follow for most people. And that's why this kind of attacks can occur.

It is just fine. This is ongoing development and a new project.  Crypto can be insane and it takes patience.  Thank you for posting logic.

The attack on the Dao and ethereum will probably be a good thing for LISK. This will probably give some steam to Lisk's price. Also, if they will actually do a Fork on Ethereum the confidence on it will seriously affected. I guess that LISK will benefit from it.
