TRC reached 5x the price recently on Vircurex. Looks like the spillover from BTCers is starting to happen. Alt coins for the win!

Even LTC is showing a bull run. Any ideas / speculations?

The news about SD spam in the BTC blockchain and the problems with tiny BTC payments are bullish for alt.coinz.
Even in the good old times you don't always paid in gold coins.

I thought it was someone that made a mistake when buying coins today.
I made 3 BTC profit in 9 hours selling the coins I purchased last night lol

I think its a temporary spike, but only time will tell

This is one of the things I've found so interesting about the 'alt' coins. Given their historically low prices, you don't need a huge price increase to double or triple your money. Litecoin had been trading at around 5 to ten cents so going to 20 cents doubles or quadruples the investment. Same thing with the others, they don't have to be wildly successful, just slightly successful. That and there needs to be enough trading volume.

Millions of dollars and an Army of N00bs is entering the market. As they wander around the forums eventually they get to Alt-coins, get curious and decide to diversify. There are really millions of dollars in the BTC market now. So much money that the alt-coins are destined to catch spillover.

I've been getting a good bit of interest/traffic to the posts I've done on Litecoin/Terracoin recently. It seems that there is a psychological benefit to 'getting in early' and maybe to mining whole coins. It's interesting to watch at the least.
