Wow. The price going up is great but the volume is even better. We've got new people using bitcoin, more people buying bitcoin and lots more volume! Can't complain about that! Bitcoins are getting in more people's hands so this is great news for everyone.

Definitely. Even if there isn't new people using bitcoin, this is still a healthy sign for bitcoin. At least there are traders who trust bitcoin to do well in the future. Who knows where bitcoin prices could end up.

after learning about about halving which could turn bitcoin to 1K USD, they are now rushing to profit.

Yup this is a good news to all, and expect more after the halving it will break $1000 I guess. And its nicer that many people enter this world of bitcoin to gain more profit especially those big persons or investors in the market.

yeah it is good but a big part of this big volume is because of the price rise itself, when the price goes up or it is volatile (up or down) the volume is increasing too because traders themselves are going to buy/sell for profit which will lead to rise in volume which is being traded.

Last time I checked the volume it was like 300k in China for 24 hours. Pretty crazy and yeah it's great and all but I'm noticing my transactions are getting screwed with by it taking forever to get the first confirmation.

You are mixing things up. The volume OP is talking about is trading volume on exchanges, this is Not the amount of transactions per second on the Bitcoin network. You are right that Bitcoin is currently at it's maximum transaction wise, requiring you to increase your fee if you need the transaction to be confirmed quicker:

Yeah i've been watching the volume also and what I noticed was that on days where there is no big price increase we average on 40 -100 million USD per 24 hours.
On days where there is much fluctuation, this increased upto 200.000 to 300.000 million.

This is without the exchanged that have 0% fee.

This is really good news for the one who holds tightly at the range of 450$ and also doesn't short it when price hit 600$+. I was thinking shorting at 800$ but after seeing volume increasing daily, i now will hold for few months more.

The volume in exchanges is really keeping increasing, but one thing also to mention that also the altcoin volume is high on exchanges which means that the people that are interesting in cryptocurrencies is keeping increasing, seeing only on poloniex the eth volume has reached 60,800BTC+. The more people buy bitcoins the more the price will increase.
