Also, my google-fu seems to direct me to sites that do not make it clear to me what I need to do. This leads me to the conclusion that I might have the wrong idea of how this should work. step 1 start tor (might be the hardest step of all 2. leave tor running 3.open bitcoin qt (also a complex step) 4 go to setting 5. go to options 6. go to network 7. click the "connect through SOCKS proxy" setting 8. settings should still be deafault Proxy ip 127.0.0.1 port 9050 SOCKS version 5 9. click apply 10. ok 11. close and restart bitcoin client and BOOM everythings done Title: Re: Qt 0.8 via Tor / Vidalia Post by: 2weiX on March 12, 2013, 12:53:17 PM heh.
