NXT is a dead shit coin. In their Slack they are actively working to "PUMP" it. Hey guys look around there is actual innovation happening. Kinda nerdy, nobody understands it really, bad PR, outshone by other, bigger, shinier competitors, but with a dedicated crew working on it. If we take that metaphor further, Ardor looks like the Ubuntu of NXT, at least from a PR standpoint. I have thought about this as well. Soon the hype for ETH/ETC will be all over and their prices will start to decline. DAOs will be a thing of the past and thus people would move onto new and better things. In my opinion, I think that NXT/Ardor will get pumped too much after the release of the Ardor platform. But it may all end once the hype is over with this one too. Based on https://nxt.org/roadmap/ we can expect to touch it on testnet 5 months from now where it will need to be debugged for 6 months, give or take one. It may sound like a long time but it's a short timeline for a project as ambitious as this.
