Title: Resolution - No gambling
Post by: bitcoinisfurture on June 20, 2016, 06:07:00 AM
Everyone would have taken a resolution for 2016 year at the beginning. Certainly everyone has different resolutions for the year and for majority of them it breaks within the January itself.

So question here is that had you taken the resolution for 2016 that you would not be Gambling in 2016 and if yes how far have you achieve this goal. Its almost 6 months about to over and are you still stick to your commitments or its already broken. And if its broken then did you actually earned overall in betting or lost?

Cautious betting .... ;)

I don't think everyone would make that their new year's resolution, some people like to gamble. My new year's resolution wasn't related to gambling or bitcoins though ^^

People need to have some strong will to get through something they want to stop so badly if it becomes an obsession or addiction.

The truth is, part of living is also gambling. In real life itself, u have to make certain decisions, which are practically gambling. So, saying NO to gambling is saying NO to LIFE. ;)

It is true. No one got where they are today without taking risks. People who make a lot of money or become a top player in a game or sport or field do it because they take risks. So you sre correct. You also feel alive taking risks.  ;D

My resolution in 2016 isn't related with gambling too. And honestly, im gambling just for fun so i think no need to say "no" with gambling  ;D

I never made any resolution to stop gambling (not that I have many successful resolutions).  It never went so bad that I'd feel the need to do anything about it.
Besides, gambling every now and again is healthy. /j

With the tipster championship things are more safe for betting, you'll always earn something so you can cover some losses. Just set a reasonable stop loss and you'll be fine

I think the resolution of the gambler is to get a bigger profit than they ever get. So this is they don't have a thought to getting out in the gambling, because they haven't felt the tribulation in the gambling. I think if they already feel the misery in the gambling, then it was also the second they will throw away gambling.

In fact, gambling should only be for fun. I wonder, how come someone gets addicted to it!

Getting out of bed is one big gamble. Then again, 'If you're too careful, your whole life can become a f*ck'n grind.' (It's a quote from Rounders.)

I have made a resolution about gambling too but i have made one with btc. I want to get more btc while i hope that the price of the btc will shoot up. So far, the price of btc has been increasing quite dramatically.

I like that. Good analogy.

I don't like resolutions and I usually don't make them. I know that some of them I couldn't keep and 'no gambling' is certainly one of them.
In my opinion we all need to have some character defect, perfect people are boring and fake.

I did a resolution to stop gambling in January and already break it on February , on February I started giving tips and won a considerable amount of bitcoins and also helped those who followed my tips to earn some money from the sidelines. I also made another resolution before going to vacation on 31 May that I would stop tipping and maybe gambling too, so far so good haven't gambled in while (21 days actually) I can say I am in full control of my gambling desires or in other words I have gained a great amount of self control.
