Title: And they said why Litecoin? ;D
Post by: El Cabron on March 12, 2013, 02:09:20 AM
Now that Bitcoin is broken (soon to be fixed I'm sure) I am still able to operate using Litecoin.

Good thing we have a stable well backed second crypto currency!

If you are a merchant it is about time to accept Litecoin to avoid these down times in the future. Also not to mention faster confirmation times.

Even if it had been odds are we would have found the bug in either BTC or LTC first. not both at the same time.

And that is its strength, BTC functions as a test plaform for LTC and TRC

This is one reason why it's useful to have Litecoin around as an ALTERNATIVE. When you go bear hunting do you just put one round of bullets in your rifle or do you have more bullets as BACKUP?

Competitive marketplace makes for greater efficiency for all.

This is hugely bullish to Litecoin, given it has the most volume in terms of fiat that is an alt crypto.

In all senses - technical as in today, commercial in the sense of no SD or SilkRd and political in keeping its head down until its big enough to take over if Bitcoin is mortaly injured by politicians! ;)
