I think maybe this is legal if you want copy your own website (for getting a backup of a website), but is it legal too if you want copy other website without ask the owner of site you want copied?

Yes It is legal if you're the owner of the site you want to copy but I think database files will not be copied by your software.

And it is illegal if you will copy others' site you will have copyright issue with the script's owner

Lol even I can do that. There are so many apps and softwares for doing it.

Some 15 years ago there was a software called teleport pro which used to do this. Maybe now there are more of them and maybe even some free ones.
So why rely on a 3rd person?
Will OP copy the PHP? Nope, unless he can hack the site.

Imho this is a service for the lazy ones with not much of knowledge on this field. But I don't expect many to use this.

This is free.... It's called HTTrack. Anyone can do it with a free program.

There is a couple paid ones that I prefer over this one. But all of them take a very long time, use lots of processing power, and use up loads of bandwidth. But on a higher end gaming PC with fiber internet it works much nicer :)
So I would save the hassle of going through all the pain of slowness :)
I'm not forcing anyone to use this service. Don't like it, ignore it. No negativity wanted here.

It cost more to setup a similar website when you clone it at least from my personal experience because there a lots of work to be done in order to put things right since there will not be any php files even not all the site will function.

The usefulness of this is basically in keeping locally a website which is a documentation, for example.
If you want it for something else, think twice, indeed.

You are very correct, the real usefulness of cloning is to have a copy on your local server in order to access especially educational books that you need to make reference to from time to time.

Why we should pay you for this?

Honestly it's easy done via linux using the wget command or there is a free tool for windows as well.

Or you can copy even wordpress websites? INCLUDING the theme?

The service is in high demand though but you cannot rely on it entirely for your web development.
I doubt if it is necessary to clone image  ;D

So you press Ctrl + S on every page and save it to a folder? How is that useful?

Maybe you want to use it for offline viewing for some reason? Or maybe you wanted to create a similar website. Don't think he uses Control + S though, since it is too much work. He probably uses HTTrack (free program) to do it. OP - Your title is misleading, based on the stuff you said. If I buy your service, I expect all the files, based on your title. Will I get the backend at all? Nope. Will I get the DB? Nope. The DB/backend is part of "all the files" though.

I use a $120 premium software for this, just cause it seems to work much smoother than HTTrack, has less bugs, and doesn't take like 2 weeks to clone one single website. Basically this service is just for you to save time and effort.
And yeah, you're right, I do not clone databases.
But if anyone is curious, I'm cloning bitcointalk right now, and it's going great so far! Looks identical. I will be making a free website to put the bitcointalk clone up as a demo.
And really, like said before, this service is for the lazy ones. Just like, technically, most other services.

And yes, I have already made over $300 with this. But it does take quite some time.

1. You paid $120 for a program which has the same functionality as many free programs.
2. You're cloning bitcointalk... if you look at the top right of the page it says 'Simple Machine Forums' which is an open source forum...
3. Once you put up the bitcointalk clone, you won't be able to get any new posts that you didn't download. So basically it would be like bitcointa.lk but without the crawlers...

Lol I had a couple hundred dollars laying around. I tried many free one but liked this paid one much more, but doesn't matter.

I started cloning it. And went from 80Gigs of free space to 73Gigs within just a few hours XD Omg, I will regret this  :-X :-[

Are you using httracker to copy the website or you are making it manually a copy of the site..
I think its legal if you just copy it manually but you can change also the design..

I usually use the paid extended version of SiteCloner. Httrack isn't too bad, but it's not nearly as good as SiteCloner. But that's just my opinion, and all just from personal experience.

So you are using the sitecloner  just like the same as httrack. how about the homepage after you copy the clone.. the httrack after you made a clone site you should dont the delete the first page or homepage of httrack because it won't work with the first page..
