I could have waited for a short time. I never expected such a decrease in price so while it was at $700 I bought 0.2 and when it grew higher felt happy but with the sudden fall nothing can be done. So waiting with patience for a increase on halving.

Im waiting on my wage to arrive so I can buy more. I hope that the price doesn't start going up until I can buy more at this cheap ass price.

No to be honest I didn't buy at that price but I bought 0.4 btc today when price went below $630 as I felt that this is the good price to buy which will allow me to make some some profits at halving.

Yes, bought $20 worth or so at around 680, now it's down to $620 at bitstamp.  But that's OK.  I didn't lose much and it's fun to watch the price.  I'm very interested in seeing where we're going to end up by July when the halving happens.

Does bitfinex was down earlier today? i am seeing it is up and running.
What it does yesterday was really shady and price keep going after bitfinex shut down trading with the name of maintainance. Price may be testing its low and 600$ may become new floor.

I haven't bought in that dump @ OP

Peeps, we had hit the top at 791, now we're sliding back towards 500, 400, 300, and even 200. I'd wait, just keep in mind we will rocket in November/December. Probably the best time to buy will be sometime in August-September.

I hope 550 or low 500 Bitcoin will reverse its course going up and make new high.

Yesterday was 660, One day later, now the price is 530, for a while was below 500.
This is beyond believable level.
Thinking that we will $1000 before $500. If you know what I mean.

I wrote lot many times on speculation forums that,
price is too valuable it attracts people to move out. So it happened.
I don't have that much btc so I could not really dump and buy back.

i have made all my purchases back at the low price and when it was stable and nothing was happening. by that time you could tell that this is the bottom and it is not going below that. but everything beyond that point is considered unstable until some time passes.

Hopefully from the price rising those that had big stashes sold out and spread the bitcoin  amongst more people.  I'm expecting price to drop further yet and will probably stock up on some bitcoin when it does. I'm hopeful it will be a good move for the long term.

I guess you already made a some profit from that 1 btc didnt you? Now btc price around $650-$670, but maybe can going higher than $800 when halving comes.

Let's see if the halving does not disappoint many people in here when the price starts to slip under $500 for good. It is an all important level for the mid-term. For now we held it, but we may still need to test it.

I planned to buy two days before when the price was near 580$. But then i changed my mind as i was not sure in which direction bitcoin will ahead. There is so much Up and downs in the prices. Only the brave trader with lots of experience can get real advantage of this changing situation.

Agree. Brexit was a non-event for Bitcoin. People try to look for different theories/news to justify what is a pure speculation pump and dump. No need to say more.

I did expect the price to rise more, but with the price going down and up day after day, it seems the market is finding a good value for bitcoin. This can be the start of stability.
But more people starting to dump now or the days coming seems to be a logic assessment too.

Does anybody have an idea of what the price is going to be like after the halving.

Well I bought some when It dropped at 550$. I think the decision I made because when I sold just when it rised again to near 700$ i got good profit then ill buy back later.  ;D

you did good.
you always have to buy the dips and when you think it is the lowest that it can go. not when it is on top of the rise.
also it is always better to buy when everybody is saying sell or they are doubting things while price is stable.

Are you acumulating or you have already sold your coins and waiting to buy back cheap. I don't have much fiat so will wait till price touch well above 700$ before halving and keep all those fiat to buy back in panic sell after halving.  ;) :D

At that time I did not bought any coin but I have collected a lot of bits by doing tasks and from a number of other sources available on internet, the faucets also increased the value of Satoshis as the value decreased and so we found a good time to earn bigger.

I can see more of a price impact on several reasons.

Like the EU situation with brexit, russias proxy war in ukraine, countries that were in similar situations like greece.

These all need a independent money transmitter which bitcoin serves, so depending on the people there who finally know what bitcoin is about it gains that much more in value.

I am actually looking to add more coins to my stash if we experience panic selling. Set my buy orders too low so far, but I keep them for now.

With Bitcoin the price is only going to higher and higher so eventually you will have to buy if you want to have a chance to make more money.
