and i got about $20 worth of bitcoin.

how can i start to gain more bitcoin with it?
should i invest? but its too low, it just $20.
or should i do exchange and gain some with it?

if anyone got some advice, please tell me.
since i was new to bitcoin.

Nowadays the best investment is that you hold that amount in your wallet as in the next month the halving will occur and with that the price will increase much faster and o a higher value.

Try your luck with altcoin trading but for that you need to be aware about every news in altcoin niche and sell/buy timely.
IT is very risky however if you don't panic when you go low, success is after every dump there is pump. ;)

20$ will not be enough for bitcoin trading so i suggested you to learn altcoin trading. But risk is very high, don't trade more than you afford to loss.

And you`ll also notice that people have a way of hiding what they are doing as well by giving bad advice.

If you seen the advice pop up multiple times - most of the time that choice has been ages ago like you mentioned with "faucets".

I would go sticking your time on the skill/talent you can bring in the service section - start with vouchers and build your name out here then changing your prices to a slight premium.

The advice for trading is a different animal all together, so I wouldnt get into it unless you have experience.

$20 is barely worth the effort when doing trading. I would just wait till you have collected yourself at least $100 worth of BTC, and then to start doing some trading alongside what you were doing already.

You could loan it out if you're not muslim.  If you do, just be sure to get collateral or else you'll end up with zero bitcoins very quickly. 

I don't know any better way to increase $20 of bitcoins except trading with altcoins, it's not the best way but its one of the best, it involves high risk because you will or loose a little or make a little profit from them. Another way is reselling digital goods.

You're writing on here which means you must have some internet and a machine which means you might have a little bit of money. If you want more then buy it. Way better use of your time with zero risk.

i doubt that he is talking about such a thing as buying because in my opinion he wants to know the free ways on how to make that much money as buying is always an easy way

i think you might do some trading with those dollars in order to earn even more money though it might be sometimes really risky so i would do this with the money i can afford losing only

Stop doing faucets... They are a waste of time. You should rather subscribe to a signature campaign. When you compare in terms of time signature campaigns are infinitly better than faucets.

I know but there comes a point where you gotta decide how much your time is worth to you. when you're on your death bed you're gonna regret spending five thousand hours on faucets to get $75 worth. You could've earnt thousands in that time doing bum jobs or trained yourself to earn way, way more.

I'd recommend trading altcoins. They can provide great profits if you get lucky. Try to diversify your investments so you don't end up losing it all at once. Good luck  ;D

Some people day trade, some people buy them when they're just starting out and wait. If you'd bought eth a few months back and sold up at the peak your $20 would've become about $600.

Make sure you don't get attached and get out when the going's good because most them don't have any type of future. You can make crazy returns on alts and lose it all just as easily. it's gambling pure and simple.

Poloniex is probably the best alt exchange. Pick a coin on there, look at its price history and you'll see what types of gains or losses you could've made.

First of all I like to know the name of websites that you earned that amount of bitcoin also maybe if you can buy some books to learn something useful that can be source of income for you is a good way of spending your money.

Well if you have $20 in bitcoin better to trade bitcoin to usd usd to bitcoin this is i think the safiest to increase the amount of bitcoin just right now bitcoin is pretty cheap.. and theres a margin price increase and decrease just set it in margin to $10 usd and i think you can make a profit with this method.. because the price movement right now is fast..

Start trading with that amount, you can trade on exchanges with smallest amount of bits, with that you will be able to earn more amount of bitcoin within a shortest time period just like all other are earning.

you can start trading with your $20 i think those amount not too small but certainly you must have skill to do so because in trading also you could losing your money but if you want more challenging you also could start to gambling and might be this is not good options but if you were lucky you could won big amount from your capital

If you ask me i will use it as capital to buy cheap altcoins on a altcoin exchange because you can see that the price of bitcoin affects a lot for altcoins price because altcoins are only depending on bitcoin price so if the bitcoin will continue to rise the altcoins will continue to fall. So if i were you i will put it on trading and have some patience on waiting for the price of bitcoin to calm down a little bit :D.

You can learn a trade altcoins, I think $20 is well worth to trade altcoins, and you can get many benefits with it. but you have to learn it first.

The best way to increase it , Do some trades in alt's buy at low and sell at high rates , Invest i don't think so it will help you instead you will lose $20 too . Do not try to gamble because it is too risky unless you are expert in gambling . That amount is much lesser for getting any profit with that, but you can find some developers who will create a good blog for you with that amount, so at there you can earn more money by showing ads from ad networks at that blog.

Try to learn the lending business concept.  By using that you can easily earn and increase your bitcoins for sure.

Just to add on, depending on how you trade, you might need to pay some transaction fees in the exchanges. Start with $20 might not be easy... because the main bulk of your profit might go into paying for those fees. Maybe you can start with face-to-face transaction... but then you will need to pay for your transportation...

when the amount of bitcoin you have is small then your options are also limited, with more bitcoin your options become more and with very big amounts then again your options are limited.

so with $20 worth of bitcoin the only thing that comes to my mind is trading. mostly trading promising altcoins when they are low to buy in the dip and dump on top to build up your bitcoin amount.

The only thing that i can suggest to you to stop doing claiming faucet because it takes a long time before you can earn much more.. try altcoin section that you can do some bounty to earn altcoin and you can sell it fast in bitcoin.. .. as of now i can not suggest to you to invest it right now its risky to invest it.. better to learn trading first and start trading in low amount so that you can learn basic things with profit or you will lose..

Yeah studying altcoin trading is worth it because we can earn a lot of money by doing some altcoin trading. I also do altcoin trading and the first time that i trade was successful because i doubled my money fast like the $5 that i have last time and now it's $15 and it's continue growing with the help of altcoin trading ;D.

Even though $20 is a very low amount for this, you could try to sell bitcoins to another payment method for a slightly higher price and then rebuy bitcoins with that extra money, rinse and repeat. The only downside would be that you might have to wait a bit for someone that's interested or desperate for bitcoins and you won't earn that much.

I agree with you on cloud mining being risky because a cloud mining site called Hashocean recently got shut down and it is unknown as to whether or not the site will reopen. I had 0.1 in there but I guess it may be gone. It would generally be a good idea to look around on the site and get advice from others who have used the site before. There is also the mining reward halving which going to be coming up very soon..

With such a amount holding is not even worth it, you should just do some sig campaigns on the forum to make more bitcoins and than simply hold to make some nice profits by just the worth.

With such a small amount, you may want to consider just holding the bitcoin for a few years and selling later. Trading with such a small amount is not going to gain you very much. Holding may double your money in a year.

It's a losing strategy in the long term (not an investment), so I don't know if you can consider it as a way to earn more... But it's true that 20$ are probably not enough for trading or even investing in a dice site (relatively high transfer fees)...

Sell it to somebody for a profit.  (In fact, I will give you $30 in Dwolla for it right now.)  You can advertise on the auction sites and make a premium on it.  Or, you can get a premium for it by offering it on localbitcoins....Other than that...don't expect to gain large returns from such a small amount.  AND, stay away from any offer that advertises large returns....bitcoin doublers and such...those are HYIP's and they take your money.

I you really want to earn more Bitcoin then you should buy them with your own money or try to win them by gambling and I do not think that that is going to work.
The only thing that you can do is buy them and invest time in them by holding for future. If you are able to do that constantly you will make a profit every time and use that money to buy more coins. It is like a cycle you keep doing the same.

20 is nothing, I would recommend against trading and just get a job and try to make at least 1,000 dollars in BTC, ideally 10,000. Once you reach that point, you can start trading, but trading with small amounts like those will require high risk if you want to make any sort of relevant gains.

The value of bitcoin can, and does, go up and down dramatically. If that's the case $20 then but as many coins as you can and use it in future.

I think this is a good idea. If you manage to get some profit and than buy back in a big exchange, you can manage to get a few bucks (depending on the number of people selling them in your area).

Providing loans with just $20 is barely worth the time. It's better to just save it up and start offering your (skills) services to the public and start earning more. Eventually all the small amounts will add up and form a decent amount.

I think it takes a mix, as in your original post. Do multiple things. With only $20, there's not much you can do; so hold it as one person suggested and just keep going with what you are doing now. You have two ways to make money with $20....Trade and invest in p2p loans...However, both the ways are risky so choose wisely. If you choose to invest in p2p loans, then choose only A+ rated borrowers..But if you choose to trade, please learn trading first and then do it.

You will earn lots of profit if a pump happens into the coin, if they dump the coin will be a huge loss. Exchange has always to sides don't sell its 100% safe investement and profit at the same time, with 20 dollars you can do several things but the best one would be save them as price isn't yet set from the halving soo those 20 can become 50dollars over the next days.

Whatever you do with your money except holding is risky. Most of all I don't recommend to invest where they are promising double or triple your money in no time. Another thing I wouldn't recommend is investing in a Cloud mining.

You can make 20usd from faucets in about 6 months or so using rotators and such.

that is where you are wrong about trading and the fees.

you should realize that trading fees are being calculated based on the size of the orders that you make and there is no fix amount to it. the withdrawal fees are fixed.

for example if you make an order with the size of 0.01BTC you will only pay 2500 satoshi fee and if you make 0.0001BTC order you will pay 25 satoshi fee

With 20 $ you can't hope for something big and safe. If you are ready to risk you can trade, gamble or buy some alt coin and wait price to rise.
If you don't wish to risk your amount, then put it somewhere safe and continue to gather coins on different faucet sites, give always you can find them in games and rounds, in service section here on forum you can find some easy tasks... and in that way your amount will grow. When btc rise you are earning so you can choose what is best option for you.

That's the same idea I have in mind. I have long been saving a percentage of my earnings from my miners and other investment into one of my wallet. With halving closing near, a few more days to go, I am expecting to yield more by selling my bitcoins at a high price after halving. But I am in constant check of the trend since halving could either result to positive or negative results. It's better to be secured so to not miss the opportunity.

Yes gambling is not advisable to grow your bitcoins instead your coins will grow it might disappear. since $20 is not much money, just hold it for now and wait for the price to increase. though you may not earn big but its safer than anything else i think.

With such little amount of bitcoin, for the art of trading that is, you should instead look into exchanging it for a markup. You could possibly make that $20 worth of bitcoin into $22 worth of bitcoin in one exchange. Then you get more once the price rises on that trade. Rinse and repeat.
It could be the safest way to make that bitcoin grow. Just be cautious with who you trade with. I will suggest someone who is reputable. ;)

OP is holding $20 and not $2, I am not into trading yet but I don't there is any involvement of banks in online trading, you can simply buy and sell coins in fraction of seconds.

The rise coins is not much active on market because the last price that i saw is only 1.5k satoshi and i think that's not enough for a investor on ICO to sell their coins and earn good amount of bitcoins. ICO can be a great opportunity to earn serious money but i think that $20 would not be enough to invest on ICO and also it's not enough to generate serious money.

i have no idea what Barnabe means by 'talk with the seller", "wait and buy bitcoin" but there is a bank involved in trading if you want to deposit or withdraw money (cash) to your bank instead of cryptocurrencies and you have to wait a while until the exchange confirms your identity and lets you deposit/withdraw money.

I think he should have to stay away from the schemes like that, it is his hard earned money and if he gone there, then not sure that he will get that amount back or not. Because ponzi sites are worst than gambling or throwing out. Once invested, gone for ever.

Good to know more and more people are coming in bitcoin. I would say if you really want to earn more then please stay away from gambling or similar stuff. You could lose everything in it within few seconds.
Now other investments options are risky too but if you can manage to have some knowledge and research then you can gain good returns.
Initially $20 is low amount (as bitcoin is heading towards $1000) so I would say, keep your bitcoins in your SAFE WALLET and earn fiat then convert that fiat in bitcoin.

Actually for me that is already a huge amount of bitcoin to start into.  I  never have that amount of bitcoin before. 

I think you are doing fine having earning that amount.  Just continue what you are doing and you will be fine.  Just do not spend it unwisely, keep it on your wallet, making more income with it, and invest it to legit investment sites and you are on your way to earning more. 

Its a small amounts but if you really want you can try trading with  altcoin you make it morethan double but not surely , just buy a good coin that have potential to increase or buy coin that increase and decrease that value many times but it's hard to find it.

I think it takes a mix, as in your original post. Do multiple things. With only $20, there's not much you can do; so hold it as one person suggested and just keep going with what you are doing now. That at least works for you; hence the $20 btc. Services, reselling goods and signature campaigns seem to do the best for me.

I also prefer altcoin trading. I just started with a small amount because there are no stores in our place where you can buy bitcoin. So i just use what i earn in faucets amd giveaways when i was new about bitcoin which is less than 20$ but now i earn more than of it. Sig campaigns also help me a lot in my altcoin trading where i earn more or less 10$ worth of bitcoin per week in my current campaign.

I'd suggest to gamble it away, you either can double it or lose it.

You need to wait for the value of the Bitcoin to go up so that you can sell your Bitcoin for more then you have bought for or maybe you earned them for free which is even better.
Then you use the profit to invest in more Bitcoin so you go on and on.

My advice to you would be to learn the altcoin trading game. In the altcoin section you see a lot of coins are launched/being launch. Invest some time to research time and try trading the altcoins.

It's been almost three months since OP started this topic. I wonder how he has progressed with his $20 worth of bitcoin. It's easy to double or even triple that amount in those three months. And he could have joined a signature campaign to add to his bitcoins.

$20 as investment is not good enough to earn more profit, just need to participate in signature campaign and save the amount he earned to have more enough capital for trading and he can start to boost his income in trading that can make it more bitcoin in 3 more months.

I don't understand why quite a few people tend to think that Bitcoin is somehow magically proliferating just by owning it.

As far as Bitcoin itself, I would not touch mining.  You can rent hash from a few sites where you are actually renting the hash power from another person, but then point that at newer and easier to mine coins and then, if you want, you can convert that into BTC later on or just keep doing it.

I honestly don't know because that amount is so low for whatever investment there is. Even if you get a 100% return from it, it's still not worth the time. The best thing you can do as of now is to just get a job, buy bitcoins on your spare money and leave them be. That's what I did on the past year and I never regretted it.

Well... I think you can try trading altcoins although there are not guarantee for gain more bitcoins from $20 in bitcoin, because on trading altcoins there are high risk and will be hard for making profit rutine from it.

Lol 20 dollar on bitcoin is by far lot for the bitcoin because one bitcoin already reached up to 600 dollar adn that is nothing from the 20 dollars you speak about

Even if he makes loss it wont' be a huge loss as $20 is too small capital to be used for an investment and even if he manages to make profits from it, it won't be too high.

I agree with you with trading and gambling that it comes with risks. But for trading,you can minimize your risks if you study trading well. So much better if you invest first on knowledge and start bitcoin trading in small amount.

I agree that the safest way is to go for signature campaign.  With 20 USD in hand, you can buy a higher ranking account and try to participate in the signature campaign.  From there you are very sure that your 20 USD will produce more weekly.  It is far safer and stable than trading and gambling.

Yes a little research and having a knowledge with the thing that you want to do in all things like business and things that involves money is a great way to start with it.  Trading is much more likeable to gain profit than gambling.  Both have risks but like you have said, a little knowledge with trading will make the difference.  Plus, gambling is for person who already have a big amount of btc or money. Trading would be great if you're really know it's basics. Before you invest your bitcoins make sure to ask favor to some experts or read a good thread for trading then once you're equipped then try to invest your bitcoins little by little.

Yeah, investing little by little is what you should do when trading without experience. A friend of mine lost 0.5 BTC in one day because he risked it all at once. He bought a new altcoin at 50k sats and then almost in no time the price was less than 20k, he waited couple of hours hoping the price will rise, but the price dropped even more to less than 2k sats.

Just use that money in gambling but choose sports betting where you can cap the games. I believe tomorrow there's a lot of game for NBA, if you are a sports lover, it would be your advantage. Just do take the risk if you want to grow your little amount of money.

The thing you can do invest your 10$ into trading, buy some some altcoins in there then trade them in a short terms trading investment. After that another 10$ put them in buying ICO coins that are potentials coin which it has a capacity to to multiply your investment into x10 or more.

Investing in ICO is a big risk as you don't know what price it will hold once it is listed on exchanges and many of them are simply as scam and eat all your money so its good to do good research before investing into it so its better to invest in altcoins that has operating since long time and you can expect certain profits from it.

Why not just plain and simple BTC leverage trading on OKCoin or BitMeX? Its way better to focus on one coin than spread your attention to multiple

There is no guarantee that casinos will pay you in long term and it involves same risk as investing money in gambling so its better not to go for that way of making money and $20 is not too huge amount so even the profits will be lower and trading is always an good option in compare to gambling to earn some profits.

Trying to earn more with just 20$ is a really hard thing to do, but never the less if there is a will there is a way, you can find some type of investment sites that allow you to start with low amounts, but there is no guarantee that you will got  like a really significant profit, and remember that they are always risks, or you could just save them and find some work for things that you are capable of doing.

Saving will not give you extraordinary results as that amount is very small and even if price goes higher it will never make you rich so the best choice would be to trade with that amount and try to earn small but regular profits and its always better then simply saving.
