Title: How to turn my BTC into USd on BTC-E or Kraken?
Post by: timk225 on June 24, 2016, 04:46:17 AM
It is time to sell my bitcoins.  I have a whopping 0.113 BTC, plus some more satoshis.  Time to sell it all off.

I signed up on Kraken, and they want all sorts of name and address verification bullshit.  Too much hassle for a $70 or so transaction.

I signed up on BTC-E, and I don't see an option to withdraw to cash in my bank account or paypal.

How can I do this with a minimum of hassle?

Anyone wanna buy 0.11366911 BTC at the market rate?  At the current $650 price that would be $73.88 .  I'd prefer to do it over Paypal or in cash if you're ok with that.

for paypal you can sell to someone with good reputation who you may find on the forum (currency exchange board) or on localbitcoin for paypal or bank but it would be risky to sell for paypal because of charge-back.

also btc-e doesn't have all those headaches and have many other online (fiat) wallets to cash out to.

I have used btc-e in the past and the only easy way to get money in or out is by withdrawing or depositing in bitcoin. I suggest that you withdraw in bitcoin to coinbase and then convert to fiat or just sell on localbitcoins and transfer directly to the buyers address. Wire transfers are difficult because of the language translation.
