Title: Cloud Mining - Need some tips?
Post by: Rahees on June 24, 2016, 10:05:54 AM
I've currently invested enough in HashOceon to produce me $0.30 a day. I want to get this to at least $5 daily, but I'm not sure if I should invest more in this site. They pay, but many say not for long.

What's the most trustful cloud mining site out that has cheap prices and can produce a lot of money?

Thank you.

I advise you to keep your Bitcoin in your wallet and don't invest in any site , because Bitcoin price is moving up and maybe it reaches 800$ . If you invested your money there is a possibility to lose them because no legit site at this time , don't trust any cloud mining site , there are a lot of sites but no one shows a proof of mining .

i think i know why many cloudmining sites dont want show proof of mining is because they dont want be attacked my competitors and from the governments.
minier farms are high targets for sabotage and arson would be the Total lost of investments.

The most useful tip from me is to stay away from cloud mining, there are many scams (most of them are) and even if they pay they pay little and to reach the ROI could take a long time which most of the time does not worth, so you better hold them and try to trade or sell them.

I completely understand you,  but their very tempting. Invest, sit, earn. I don't know any other methods of earning money so that's why I invest in them.

it's tempting because you don't have to do anything you want easy money. you better withdraw your money from cloud mining sites. alternatively you can do trading and make some money it's better than cloud mining scam.

I agree, it is easy money. Do you know any other methods you can recommend to me?

There isn't one.
Why do you think there would be?
Why would anyone who could mine profitably share those profits with you?

You won't pay any attention to what people say in this thread (unless they come up with another scam that tempts you more than HO), you will put your money into these schemes because they are "very tempting" and you will continue to do so until you lose it all.
Invest, sit, earn? The world owes you a living?
lol.

I don't recommend investing in cloud mining service at this time but if you are insistent , you can try Genesis Mining and Hashflare , those two sites still paying good rate , but you must remember that the halving is coming and the profit of mining will become lower than now .

There is no any trustfull cloud mining site out there in my point of view. Even they show us their mining rigs, we can't trust them with all our money as mostly they will sell more hashpower but actually only have far less that those sold than work just like hyip which exist till they are able to get new fresh investors daily. Recent example of how cloud mining site can disappear within 1 day is cldmine, better don't invest in cloud mining they are just similar to HYIP programs.

Hashnest is also a good option. They are tied with Bitmain, who runs AntPool.

Their prices are also less than or equal to half of Genesis'. But, the final decision is still yours.

How will proof on the blockchain give enough clues to destroy the physical farm?

Regarding the companies: They usually post their business address and even their farm address sometimes so users can check them out and prove their legitness.

Regarding the blockchain: I dunno. I have no idea. Here's something that totally doesn't give any clues who mined the blocks. Evildoers will definitely target those who earn a lot, but the blockchain absolutely doesn't give any hints who mined what:

Genesis mining is a shady company. Apart for prices and their "Customers gel's NO ROI" policy they screwed (cheated) their customers in the past.
My advice is to find other investment opportunities because cloud mining may give you 5 dollar per day, but on the term you will lose money.

if you invested some money in in hashocean then follow my suggestion and stay there. and don't invest anything else to anywhere else. hashocean is paying till yet. you may get your money back but if you invest more money then you probably  will loose all your investment.
so be careful mate..

Investing in cloud mining sites isn't really that stupid, especially when they offer other services than just plain mining.

Just look at Hashnest. They have a market feature where you can buy and sell hashpower with ridiculously low fees. It's predictable, so you can earn a serious profit from that alone (i.e. mining is second priority)

Well its right time to say goodbye to your beloved hashocean. Many people are still hoping that it will come back , but I guess it will not, they'be reached there quota so whats the reason to come back. They scammed more than 700,000 users ang got more than thousands BTC. You can check this wallet address and you have the right to judge it. More than 5700 BTC transferred to that address.

Like may here, I was interested in the whole Cloud Mining idea, it seemed that with reputable service providers that it might have worked OK.  So, I looked around, asked some questions here & there, etc.  I was unable to find EVEN ONE cloud mining opportunity that looked legit.  So my one tip would be:

"Don't do it!"

They all look too scammy.

I hope you have got enough tips from the latest threads regarding Hashocean, Topmine and a bit before Cldmine all of these ponzies collapsed and they were not cloud mining at all, only some pyramid scheme which ended when no new investors or they reached their target money like the case of Hashocean. Bottom line is to stay away or join the only legit cloud mine which is Hashnest, but its very difficult to make ROI with them as they really mine bitcoin but increasing difficulty and halving near us make it difficult for us to make ROI. All other cloud mining websites are just ponzies which you should stay away.

Be aware of any kind of cloud mining  many ponzi now open and they say they are legit cloud mining. after grabbing your trust it will run with your investment the most painful thing is you still not recovered your money.

I have to quote this. Do not fail into all the marketing. Earning that is worth your wait from cloud mining is mathematically not going to happen. Everything is against you right from the very beginning because the difficulty keeps rising. And do you think Bitmain will release its latest mining profitable chips to their competitors?

Most of the cloud mining only seems like a ponzi schemes only. Mining will be profitable when you start with large scale investment only specifically solar mining choice for the big mining process leads due to electricity cost may low for the process.

I hope most cloud mining sites will not give profits fastly, it will take some to get your investment. In order to make more your investment should also be more. But firstly you need to understand cloud mining is always risky, better go for trading you will make more profit, when compared to trading. If you don't know about trading try to learn about trading you will feel comfortable with trading.

Solar mining. I havent heard any BTC miner do that before so why mention it. Your post doesnt even bring any new concern or doesnt point out anything new at all. All you said is something that what Ive been saying about cloud mining.

actually there are several people doing some solar mining and yet their testimony is good but i can't tell for myself that this is profitable since i never experience to used this, and i believed you would not  earn some decent profit in this since i doubting since maintenace cost for maintaining this surely cost us a lot, and you can check out for yourselves on mining boards to see some good data about it.

No research will help you. Cloud mining was and still is unprofitable. You will surely lose money this way!
They are paying on time to take advantage of people who think a site paying on time for a year or 2 is not a scam. I'd be happy to offer you such services if you really want to. You'll send me 10 BTC and I will sign a written agreement that every single month for the next 10 years I will be paying you 0,08 BTC. Do the math yourself ;)

very well said, thats why we should think many times before investing since we are talking about money here and im very sure that we cannot retreive our losses if we get caught by those scammers. Cloudmining is never been a good choice to us since at first place that platform is not profitable anymore so better stick out and leave the thoughs that we would be rich by the help of those.

I think you must try on hashnest because the service of cloud mining has support hardware by bitmain. Even if just get a little bitcoin every days but it is more safe than another cloud mining service.
Thank you for mentioning us here.
Yes, we hashnest have been here since 2014 and we already have tons of users.

Solar mining. I havent heard any BTC miner do that before so why mention it. Your post doesnt even bring any new concern or doesnt point out anything new at all. All you said is something that what Ive been saying about cloud mining.

If each competing miner doesnt make profit without exploiting the mistakes and inefficiencies of their competitors, why do you think cloud mining would be profitable? It wont.

actually there are several people doing some solar mining and yet their testimony is good but i can't tell for myself that this is profitable since i never experience to used this, and i believed you would not  earn some decent profit in this since i doubting since maintenace cost for maintaining this surely cost us a lot, and you can check out for yourselves on mining boards to see some good data about it.

Are you sure theyre telling the truth? Where do they get their solar power from? If you would be so nice to post where you got this information that would be very appreciated.

Thank you.

I cannot give some tips about in cloud mining site. Because like what everybody said to you here is the same thing that I would also say it to you. Just keep your bitcoin in a safe hardware wallet. And for me there is no trustful cloud mining nowadays. or if there is, its very hard to find.

There arent any trustworthy cloud mining business available, if you have access to free electricity and have the money, buy a miner yourself and reap the rewards, its basically free money if the electricity is free

If I were you, don't continue to invest more in any of the cloud mining sites. Most of it are Ponzi scheme base on what I read in this forum. though I believed in them because they will never said without a reason. Nothing to loose if we listen sometimes.

I completely understand you,  but their very tempting. Invest, sit, earn. I don't know any other methods of earning money so that's why I invest in them.

Indeed, you are correct. Imagine all you need to do is just deposit and  then wait for staking your investment. but some are running away they just return the 50% of your investment and once you close to your ROI, they will delay your withdrawal until you will realize they took the rest of your money.

This is super funny an invalid assumption from a user named "Your Point Is Invalid" somewhere out there people are definitely working their asses off to produce electricity as a result it means there is no free electricity mate and if you have access to such resources using them is stealing period.

He said if a person has access to free electricity. He didnt say there was free electricity somewhere. Read before you post.

YPII, free electricity is just half of the problem. Theres the rising difficulty to worry about and if your hardware is still good and not obsolete yet. It will be really hard to compete with the more efficient miners in finding blocks, and they have way more power than you. You will be in a better position to profit by investing straight to BTC.

You may got a little misunderstanding of cloud mining.
HashNest dropped the electricity fee to 0.07$/kwh, and even S7 now can earn around 0.00111203btc daily. S9 can earn around 0.00515183btc daily if you have a roughly calculation.

I think he thinks that way because there have been more scams than legitimate cloud mining that have surfaced in the past couple of years. Usually, most cloud mining have really sold fake hashes which they don't actually have and just pay over their old customers with the new customer's money.

That is called "PONZI" paying up old investors with new members money and the cycles goes on and on. Most of them are just scams even though there are companies does have cloud mining but still isnt ideal to invest since bitcoin mining is not profitable already for longer runs.

i don't know how people thinks that cloudmining is profitable since as you stated cloudmining is not profitable today and it will never generate some profit to anybody as years goes pass since difficulty will be much higher in succedding years. Its beteer to avoid rather than gamble our fate to earn in their.

You are right, imagine the mining difficulty will rise every other week which means in longer runs your profits on those site would be lesser and it will gradually decrease to the lowest excluded from the fees which means nothing will really be left on you.

Are you type of a person who has a characteristic of laziness? Because Cloud mining I think is very suitable for that Person, But most of this are designed as ponzi scheme, meaning there are many has been appeared in this industry and many also disappeared because many investor invested into cloud mining site then they runaway when the period of ROI will be coming back to their investors.

Hash Ocean is done with. Its now a ponzi only. Regarding tips for the cloud mining i think you should invest in cloud mining sites only when the sites starts as it may pay you in the beginning and you might earn some profit.
But why take risk ?  stay away from cloud mining.

Very few cloud mining sites are paying on time, even though they are paying less amount but their support system are ready to sort your problems. Before investing into any cloud mining start researching about it because we are here to make money not to loose.

Yeah that's absolutely right cloud mining still really unprofitable nowadays and I would highly give you tips, and the most tips I give is avoid investing to mining sites you could be victim of ponzi schemes. Do a research and read the other threads here and you will surely understand why I am saying these statements. Most of the people were got scam by minings and they toke advantage of the peoples effort investing to worsts promises ever.

very well said, thats why we should think many times before investing since we are talking about money here and im very sure that we cannot retreive our losses if we get caught by those scammers. Cloudmining is never been a good choice to us since at first place that platform is not profitable anymore so better stick out and leave the thoughs that we would be rich by the help of those.

Even knowing all details about cloud mining not profitable , even then their are so many users who are joining it daily and this is all due to greediness of earning soon with high profit. Due to this only this cloud mining sites are still getting profit. We can do nothing even if we start so many threads with full details about how they are scamming.

Our friend is not informed and updated that the so called "long time trusted" cloud mining has been vanished and runned the funds of their investors already. And good awareness that you got pal, you surely aware of what's happening and there would be no such trusted cloud mining.
For now almost are all the same dont expect that you can earn in some cloud mining site first you can think if they had those mining hardware true?
If they had those hardware and own it.. and they can use the miner with their own instead of selling the hashrate outside better to mine bitcoin with your own because you own hardware mining.
For you guys if you own a miner do you think you can sell hashrate? they can not give free money instead they are doing it to increase their revenue or anytime they can be scam..

You got it. Its true that why they need to sell it if they can earn from it. And regarding those hardware, its very easy to grab some pictures through internet. Those people who are selling their hashrates are just making false assumption that investors will hope that they are actually investing on a real one.

You are absolutely right my friend. There is no such industry which offers mining on the cloud and all these sites are scam.  Even if anyone still  think its easy way to earn then i think you should invest very small amount at first to test if the site really pays. Better to get feedback of the site from the internet before using it.

At this stage cloud mining is a done industry. Even legit mining operations offering cloud mining are going to turn into some sort of a scam.

They have the ability to change the fees at any times, they can terminate your contract if they deem it unprofitable, they can use block halvings as excuse to shut down their cloud mining platform entirely, and the list goes on.

It's a waste of time and money. Funny thing that not everyone seems to understand is that they basically pay you with your own money while you think they are actual mining rewards. Don't fall for it.
